Let's dive into our second round of fantasy basketball waiver wire options in the fifth week of the NBA regular season.

Here's the story from Monday.

Check out fantasy basketball waiver wire options on FantasySP all season long!

Should You Add Luke Kornet?

Kornet has been added in 8.83% of fantasy leagues, bringing his overall mark to 47.85%.

Kornet is mostly on the rise after it was reported that Victor Wembanyama was going to miss a couple weeks with a calf strain. Kornet is one of the players who will take on more in Wemby's absence.

He started for the Spurs on Sunday, posting 13 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks and one assist over 27 minutes.

That was just Kornet's sixth game of the season, as he missed seven games in late October/early November. Over 138 minutes played overall, Kornet has 61 points, 39 rebounds, 11 assists and seven blocks. He has made 25 of his 31 shots overall and is 11-of-16 at the free-throw line.

With Wemby out, Kornet's role and usage is going to increase for a little bit, so it makes sense to add him in more fantasy leagues. He's been a solid deep-league asset, and now is a good streaming option in those leagues for every game until Wembanyama is back.

Kornet could work into standard leagues as well, especially if he puts up numbers like he did on Sunday. Keep an eye on him and add or drop him based on how he produces from here.

Should You Add Moses Moody?

Moody is up 6.04% and now sits at 40.19% overall.

Moody has started the past three games for the Warriors, and he's scored 19, 4 and 32 points in those contests. Over 13 games overall, Moody has scored in double figures seven times, but in the six other games, he has just 25 points combined, so he's been kind of boom or bust.

He's played 26-33 minutes over the past three games, but is averaging just 24.2 minutes per game on the season. Moody is averaging 13.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks for the year, while shooting 44.2% overall and 45.3% from deep.

Moody is definitely worth some deep-league looks right now, but he's a risky starter yet with an inconsistent role. Until his minutes drop, or production tails off, I like the idea of adding and utilizing him in deeper leagues.

Another big game or two could help Moody get into standard leagues, although he's just a streaming option for those leagues. If he can keep his recent marks up for a week or more, then he'll be a safer pickup in standard leagues.

I think he's one of those players who you will need to watch all season, adding and dropping him as his role and usage goes up and down.

Should You Add Vince Williams Jr.?

Williams is rostered in 7.18% of leagues after a 2.3% increase today.

He did not play in the team's first several games, but has appeared in nine straight contests for the Grizzlies. Williams had mostly just been playing 14-17 minutes a night, but he's been playing 24+ minutes over the past three contests.

Williams started one of those three games, and has averaged 11.3 points, 6 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.7 steals over 25.3 minutes in that span. He's shooting 39.3% overall and 42.1% in that stretch.

With Ja Morant and others missing time for Memphis, there's a chance Williams sticks as a fantasy asset for a little while, and if he takes advantage of the opportunities now, he might earn himself a role for the entire season - even when the team is back at full health.

He's worth adding in more deeper leagues today, but he's not a must-added player in those formats. Williams will need a couple weeks of solid play, or more usage/production in order to get standard league consideration, let alone looks in all deeper leagues. He's worth keeping tabs on though.

Should You Add Jeremy Sochan?

Sochan has been added in 4.16% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 11.96%.

Sochan is another guy who could take on more with Wemby out of the picture. In the team's last game, he played 22 minutes off the bench, which was nearly a season high. Sochan posted 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in that contest.

He hasn't been playing a ton otherwise, which is why his own percentage is so low right now. Sochan has just 109 minutes played over seven games, and that includes the 22-minute showing in his last game.

Sochan can fill up the stat sheet, so with more playing time, he can be a deep-league fantasy asset for some of you. I like Kornet over Sochan, but Sochan is worth adding in some deeper leagues today. He's a deep-league streaming option until Wemby is back, at least.

I don't see him playing enough to earn standard league ownership and usage, but he's worth tracking in case that happens with Wembanyma out of the picture.

Once Wemby is back, Sochan should probably be dropped in all leagues. We'll track things and help you know who to add/drop and when to do those moves, so keep checking back with FantasySP all NBA season!

Should You Add Isaiah Collier?

Collier is owned in 59.79% of leagues after a 5.64% boost today.

He's starting to settle in a bit, and is coming off a season-best game. In a double-overtime win on Sunday, Collier had 16 points, nine assists, four rebounds and two steals over 36 minutes off the bench.

He's started once over five games played so far. Collier has 55 points, 37 assists, 18 rebounds and two steals and blocks over 131 total minutes played. Collier is shooting 60% overall and is 40% from deep. He's 17-of-24 at the line.

Collier is a nice fantasy asset when he gets enough minutes between his points and assists - anything else he adds is a bonus. He just needs adequate playing time to be a decent fantasy asset.

Utah is dealing with several injuries, but none of them are really helping Collier to more playing time. Still, if he can play 24 or more minutes most nights, Collier is worth deep-league usage and utilization.

Right now, I like owning him in all deeper leagues, and he's a standard league streamer for those with an open roster spot or a need at guard. He's worth tracking in case he settles into a big nightly role, but he should at least remain a solid deep-league option all year.

Should You Add Brandin Podziemski?

Podziemski is now rostered in 70.81% of leagues after a 3.01% increase today.

Podziemski has started seven of the team's 15 games so far, but he's logged 427 minutes, so he's playing enough to be a good fantasy asset.

He is averaging 11.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks over 28.4 minutes per contest. Podz is shooting 45.5% overall and is 38.4% on his 3-pointers.

He's pretty much on pace with his marks from a year ago, even though he's playing a bit more every night. Podziemski hasn't taken a huge step forward, but he's still worth tracking.

Podz has scored in double figures in all but five games this season, and it's happened just twice so far in November. He can fill the stat sheet most nights too, so he's a bit better asset than he might first look.

The big thing is playing time, and he's been over 25 minutes in three straight games now. If that continues, his overall fantasy production should be high enough to make him a nightly deep-league starter, while being a standard league streaming option and possible pickup in all leagues if he ups his averages just a bit.
