With starter Josh Jacobs sidelined on the commissioner exempt list, Brooks continues to operate in a committee backfield alongside MarShawn Lloyd. Over the first two contests of the season, Brooks has totaled 11 carries for 40 yards and a reception on three targets, carving out a modest role in short-yardage and blitz-pickup situations.

Although the Packers enter Thursday night as solid home favorites against the winless Falcons, Brooks’ limited touch volume severely dampens his fantasy floor. Our weekly projection slots him for approximately five rushing attempts, under two receptions, and around 5.7 fantasy points. Rostered in roughly 26% of leagues with a start rate under 3%, Brooks is strictly a deep-league bench stash or emergency flex play who requires a goal-line score to return meaningful value.
