Outlook Brock Purdy
Revamped Receiving Corps Boosts Value and Floor for Highly Efficient Starter
With Brandon Aiyuk currently out on the reserve list, the 49ers aggressively remade their pass-catching group, adding veteran Mike Evans, Christian Kirk, and rookie De'Zhaun Stribling alongside George Kittle. Purdy has been highly efficient in Kyle Shanahan's system, and this updated group provides him with excellent tools to maintain his high-floor passing volume.
Our models project Purdy for another highly productive campaign, forecasting 4,171 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 272 rushing yards. Coming off consecutive seasons of high-efficiency pocket play, he continues to show elite accuracy. His fantasy ownership remains nearly universal at 98%, with managers starting him in 70% of leagues.
From a draft perspective, Purdy's ADP has seen notable volatility, dipping into the late-10th round before climbing back to around 107. At this price point, our projections view him as an exceptional value draft-day target. His shifting market price represents a high-end fringe top-10 option, making him a safe selection with high-end efficiency upside.

Outlook Aaron Rodgers
Legendary Quarterback Set for Final NFL Season as a Low-Cost Fantasy Option
Aaron Rodgers has announced that the 2026 season will be his last, setting up a farewell tour in Pittsburgh under head coach Mike McCarthy. Operating as the starting quarterback ahead of Mason Rudolph, Rodgers will pilot an offense featuring playmakers like DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. The team also recently reunited Rodgers with tight end Robert Tonyan, who caught 11 touchdowns during the signal-caller's 2020 MVP campaign.
Our projections foresee a stable but low-ceiling campaign, slating Rodgers for 3,429 passing yards and 22 touchdowns. In 1.0 PPR formats, fantasy managers are treating him as a late-round flyer. His ADP has remained stubbornly flat around pick 201 over the past month.
Given his stationary ADP, Rodgers represents a solid, risk-free backup in single-QB leagues or a cheap QB2 in Superflex formats. While his rushing upside is virtually nonexistent at age 42, his veteran efficiency offers a safe floor for managers waiting on the position.
