Saquon Barkley is poised to anchor Philadelphia's backfield as the clear lead runner, well ahead of depth options Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley. Recent practice reports suggest the team is exploring an expanded receiving role for Barkley under center, drawing inspiration from Todd Gurley. This shift could resurrect his high-volume target seasons from early in his career.

Fantasy managers have adjusted his market value accordingly, with his ADP in PPR formats steadily softening from a peak of 10 in mid-May to a more reasonable 15 in June. Our projections see this slight dip as a prime buying window. He currently slots in as a high-floor second-round anchor who remains almost universally rostered.
