After checking out some more fantasy basketball waiver wire options, let's go over another round of droppable players.

Here's the last drop story we did.

Should You Drop Jonathan Kuminga?

Kuminga is rostered in 73% of leagues today. He was at 92% back on November 6, so he's been dropped pretty steadily.

He is dealing with a knee injury, but he's being dropped after coming off the bench in the team's last game. Kuminga only played 12 minutes in that contest.

He had been starting and playing over 30 minutes most of the season, but his last three starts, he's been between 20-26 minutes, so a demotion was bound to happen, and it did.

Kuminga is averaging 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.3 blocks over 27.7 minutes in 13 games so far. He is shooting 47.8% overall and is 32.4% from deep.

If he's not starting or even playing close to 20 minutes though, Kuminga's fantasy value is going to dry up, and that's why he's being dropped. I think he can safely be dropped in all standard leagues right now. Keep an eye on him in case his role ever expands again, but for now, he's just a deep-league asset.

Keep rostering Kuminga in most deeper leagues, but it might get to a point where he's not a nightly starter if you have enough other starters.

Should You Drop Cam Thomas?

Thomas is down to 78% rostered. He was at 100% before getting injured.

Thomas is out with a left hamstring strain. It was a 3-4 week timeframe before he got re-evaluated, and that was on November 7, so he's got a couple more weeks at least before we get an idea on his return date.

If he's out for another month, then he's not worth holding in standard leagues where there's no IR spots to put him in, especially if you need that roster spot to remain competitive.

He was averaging 21.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.1 blocks over 28.3 minutes in his first eight games, and those numbers were affected by him only playing six minutes in his last appearance.

Thomas is a decent fantasy asset on his scoring alone. He's been a 20+ point per game scorer over the past two seasons, but injuries are starting to become a recurring theme with him. Thomas needs to be on the court more often.

I'd put Thomas in an IR spot if I could, but he's definitely droppable in some standard leagues where there's no IR spot and your team needs more production to remain competitive.

Keep a close eye on his return timetable and add him a bit before he's expected to return. He's a really good fantasy asset when he's available, so make sure you beat the crowd to the talented guard.

Should You Drop Grayson Allen?

Allen is another player who is dealing with an injury. He's at 94% rostered, which is a bit down from the past couple days.

He injured his right quad on Thursday night and left the game after 12 minutes. It's not a long-term injury by the looks of it, but he could miss a couple games, so it's fair to see him being dropped.

Allen is another guy I'd want to throw in an IR spot, because he's played really well this season, as his own percentage would suggest.

He's averaging 18.5 points, 4.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.3 blocks over 32.1 minutes in his 13 games (all starts). Allen is shooting 46.8% overall and is 44.7% on his 3-pointers.

Allen is having a career season, and his points per game alone makes him a pretty solid fantasy asset. He's adding enough else outside points to be a pretty well-rounded fantasy asset.

With Phoenix needing more production this season, Allen is one of the players stepping up. He was definitely worth rostering in most fantasy leagues, so hopefully this injury doesn't keep him out long.

Should You Drop Aaron Nesmith?

Nesmith got hurt on Thursday, and sits at 68% rostered now. He was at 73% yesterday.

Nesmith got injured in the same game that Allen was playing in. He provided 10 points, three rebounds and one assist and steal over 20 minutes before leaving with the injury.

Over 11 games (all starts), Nesmith is averaging 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks over 30.5 minutes. He's shooting just 36.7% overall and 37.3% from deep.

He's taken on more in the early going as the Pacers play without Tyrese Haliburton, and he's had to take on even more with several Pacers banged up in the early going. Now Nesmith is expected to miss a little time himself.

Until he's back, he's droppable in standard leagues - unless you have unlimited IR spots, I'd say that he could be dropped safely, as he's not a locked-in standard leaguer when healthy.

His status will be one to watch, and he could be worth adding a day or two before he's expected to return to the court. We'll see how long he is out, but for now, I'd keep holding him in deeper leagues.

Should You Drop Bobby Portis?

Portis is owned in 39% of leagues after starting the season near 85%.

Portis has played all 12 of the Bucks' games, and is healthy right now, so he's being dropped for poor play. He is averaging 9.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.1 blocks over 20.8 minutes a game.

His minutes are down nearly five from last season, and his averages across the board are down as a result. Portis was a decent standard league option in past years, which is why his own percentage was as high as it was to start the season.

So far, he's just worth deep-league ownership and usage, and that's not even all deep leagues. It might take an injury to a forward or big man in Milwaukee to get Portis back to his averages from past years.

He's worth tracking still, but for now, he's only a deep-league asset. Don't be afraid to drop him if you see someone more useful on the waiver wire.

Should You Drop Yves Missi?

Missi is rostered in 20% of leagues - he was at 63% at the start of the season.

Missi returned to the court on Wednesday after missing the previous four games. He was ejected after just over two minutes of play after getting into an altercation with Jerami Grant

He's missed five games overall already, and is averaging just 19.7 minutes per game, although that two-minute outing his last time out alters that quite a bit. Missi is averaging 6.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and assists and 0.2 steals per game overall.

Taking out the last game, he's averaging 7.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.2 steals over 23.2 minutes. He's shooting 68.2% overall so far.

He's a decent fantasy asset because of his points and rebounds, but his role has decreased from his rookie year, so that's not a great sign. The chance to shine is there, as Zion Williamson has missed extended time, as has Jordan Poole, and Dejounte Murray still hasn't played yet.

Derik Queen has taken advantage of the opportunities, and might have overtaken Missi as a big man for the Pelicans. As a result, I understand why Missi is being dropped, and why Queen is being added.

This might go back and forth all season, so if you are dropping Missi now, don't write him off for good. I do think he's just a deep-league option right now, but we'll see how he fares when he actually gets a full game in again.
