Week 16: Waiver Wire Recommendations For The Fantasy Football Postseason

Matt Brandon Dec 20th 4:46 PM EST. Edited 4:46 PM.

Week 15 has been pretty odd, and not just because the Detroit Lions upset the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals by a score of 30-12 after being 12.5-point underdogs. We still have four games remaining even though it’s Monday. Due to COVID-19 raging through the NFL, three games were rescheduled, meaning we have a double-header tonight as well as a double-header tomorrow to finish off the week. Tonight, we will get treated to a matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns. Then, the normally scheduled Monday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will kick-off. Tomorrow, the Los Angeles Rams will play the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles will play the Washington Football Team. Hopefully, your fantasy squad will still be alive for the semi-finals in Week 16.

Week 15 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em & Sit ‘Em: Fire Up Rhamondre Stevenson

Matt Brandon Dec 17th 2:50 PM EST. Edited 2:50 PM.

The final week of the fantasy football regular season is in the books. The fantasy football postseason has officially kicked off after the Kansas City Chiefs held off the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, 34-28 behind big-time efforts from Travis Kelce (10 receptions for 191 yards and two scores) and Tyreek Hill (12 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown). Fantasy owners who started Patrick Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, and Keenan Allen got off to a hot start in Week 15. Those who fired up Clyde Edwards-Helaire or Mike Williams are probably the only disappointed owners after the first game of the week.

Hedging your bet is not something people just do in the sports betting world; it is also a common life skill that people use to limit their exposure to the downside in a certain situation. In sports betting, hedging is an advanced strategy to limit potential financial loss or to ensure guaranteed profit, depending on the situation. Knowing how and why to hedge your bets can prove to be a very fruitful venture.

Sports Betting 101: Managing Your Bankroll

Matt Brandon Dec 15th 4:00 PM EST. Edited 4:00 PM.

Practicing good bankroll management is critical when it comes to being a successful sports bettor. It’s not the most exciting topic in the sports betting industry but is one of the most critical. Whether you make wagers casually or treat it as a second job, all thriving sports bettors practice responsible bankroll management. The quickest way to find yourself in an uncomfortable financial situation is to poorly manage your bankroll.

Matt Brandon Dec 14th 6:23 PM EST. Edited 6:23 PM.

It’s that time of the week to look at who fantasy owners are dropping the most heading into Week 15. You can view our Predictive Adds article, but now we will take a look at the players' fantasy owners are giving up on as we gear up for the fantasy football postseason. With the fantasy football regular season a thing of the past, it is not only critical to identify the top producers on the waiver wire, but it is also important to drop the players who have the least value moving forward.

Using Predictive Adds To Identify Week 15 Fantasy Football Postseason Waiver Wire Pickups

Matt Brandon Dec 14th 2:05 PM EST. Edited 2:05 PM.

Week 14 is officially in the books after the COVID-stricken Los Angeles Rams upset the Arizona Cardinals on the road last night in Glendale. The Rams certainly made it interesting though by allowing Arizona to recover an onside kick with less than a minute remaining in the game. However, Aaron Donald sacked Kyler Murray as time expired to inch the Rams one game closer in the NFC West. The loss dropped the Cardinals from atop the NFC standings to the No. 3 seed. The Green Bay Packers moved to the top of the conference with a victory Sunday night over the Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now the No. 2 seed after defeating Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in overtime. That said, there is still a lot of football left to be played. The postseason picture is still very blurry considering there are only four weeks left in the NFL regular season.

The Rams and Cardinals will play in a pivotal NFC West clash of two playoff contenders to end the final week of the fantasy football regular season tonight. After tonight’s contest, the fantasy football postseason picture will finally be clear in just about every league.

Week 14: Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Options

Matt Brandon Dec 9th 3:54 PM EST. Edited 3:54 PM.

Tight end is the most shallow position in fantasy football, which is why many fantasy owners stream at the position with the fewest trustworthy options. Week 14 is the final week fantasy owners will have to deal with the bye-week blues. The Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots will all get some much-needed rest this week. That means fantasy owners will have to find replacements for Dallas Goedert, Mike Gesicki, and Hunter Henry. Fortunately, the Colts don’t have any fantasy-relevant tight ends on their roster.

Week 14: Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Options

Matt Brandon Dec 9th 3:17 PM EST. Edited 3:17 PM.

Streaming quarterbacks has become an acceptable strategy in the world of fantasy football. With four teams on bye this week (Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Miami, and New England), fantasy owners will be scrambling to find replacements for Jalen Hurts, Carson Wentz, Tua Tagovailoa, and Mac Jones. There aren’t a ton of solid quarterbacks on the waiver wire at this point of the season, but we’re here to help you find the top streaming options at the position in Week 14.

Week 14 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em & Sit ‘Em

Matt Brandon Dec 8th 6:39 PM EST. Edited 6:59 PM.

It’s the final week of the fantasy football regular season. This could be a win-or-go-home type of situation for plenty of fantasy owners. With just one week remaining in the fantasy football regular season, you probably have tons of questions about who to start, especially with four offenses consisting of top-tier talents on byes (the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots). Fortunately for you, FantasySP has the answers.
