Jaylen Warren enters the season sitting atop the Steelers backfield depth chart, positioning him for a prominent role under new head coach Mike McCarthy. While he is expected to split touches with Rico Dowdle, our models project Warren to handle the heavy lifting. We project him for 176 carries and 54 targets, solidifying his role as a versatile dual-threat weapon.
Warren's historical efficiency makes him an incredibly attractive option. Since entering the league, his knack for breaking tackles and generating yards after contact ranks among the elite at his position. He has proven his durability as well, coming off a career-high 229-carry campaign where he cleared 1,100 scrimmage yards, proving he can shoulder a heavier load.
