Blake Corum at Denver — Even Backfield Split Offers Flex Viability

Corum has carved out an almost dead-even timeshare alongside Kyren Williams, logging 22 carries across the first two contests while averaging 6.0 yards per rush. Head coach Sean McVay recently confirmed the Rams plan to keep splitting carries evenly, and with depth running back Ronnie Rivers landing on injured reserve, Corum's share of the backfield is securely solidified.

While rostered in over 90% of leagues, fantasy managers are starting him in only about 15%, keeping him in flex territory for now. Our weekly projection puts him at roughly 10 carries and 48 rushing yards in Denver. He offers a viable flex floor with upside should he find the end zone.

Claiborne remains healthy and active after logging his first regular-season reception last week. With fellow backfield mate Jordan Mason sidelined on injured reserve due to a thumb issue, Claiborne moves up the pecking order behind veteran Aaron Jones Sr. and DeeJay Dallas. Even with the depth-chart bump, the rookie continues to see minimal offensive work in Minnesota's backfield rotation.

Our weekly projection tabs Claiborne for just 2.5 fantasy points alongside roughly 10 rushing yards and limited passing-game usage against Tampa Bay. Roster rates sit near 3% with virtually no fantasy managers starting him, making him strictly a bench stash or dynasty hold. Fantasy managers should leave him out of starting lineups in all redraft leagues this week.
