Here's what is so fascinating about tonight: Jets have a terrible history in prime time — 6 straight losses, embarrassing moments, etc. Now there's the Mike White phenomenon, which has re-energized the team and the fan base. Gonna be great theater. #Jets espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…

#Jets at #Colts: Rookie RB Michael Carter enters the game as a hot, double-threat back. He had 172 yards from scrimmage last week, 3rd-most for a Jets rookie. Top 2: Wesley Walker, 1977 -- 178 Joe McKnight, 2010 -- 173
Bad news for the #Jets: QB Mike "f-ing" White is on the sidelines dealing with a wrist or hand injury. Josh Johnson is in.

Davis (hip) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Colts.
With Davis unavailable for the second straight game, Jamison Crowder, Elijah Moore, Keelan Cole and Denzel Mims are in line to head the Jets' wide receiver corps against Indianapolis, while Mike White -- who threw for 405 yards in New York's upset win over Cincinnati this past Sunday -- will make his second straight start at QB for the team. Davis' next chance to return to the lineup will arrive in Week 10, when the Jets host the Bills on Nov. 14.
Now you know why Denzel Mims doesn't play #Jets
Marcus Maye is an Achilles injury doesn't look good according to Saleh. Please don't be a bunch of assholes.
Robert Saleh, rest of staff & players were humiliated by the #Patriots running up the score against them a few weeks ago. They promised to never have it happen again. Now it is. In prime time. For the world to see. This is an embarrassment.
Denzel Mims is starting at receiver. The #Jets are coming out in three wide — Keelan Cole & Jamison Crowder the other two.
We've placed DL Bryce Huff on IR and activated LB Hamsah Nasirildeen. We've also elevated QB Josh Johnson and DL Jabari Zuniga from the practice squad.
After the NE debacle, DC Jeff Ulbrich and some defensive players vowed that it wouldn't happen again. It's happening again. #Jets
Tyler Kroft moved so he's now hurt. He's headed into the blue medical tent.
Nicely designed play from Mike LaFleur. Schemed Moore wide open. #Jets
Joe Flacco is not active. So, if anything happens to Josh Johnson, then it's emergency QB time.
John Franklin-Myers is getting looked at by docs on the bench

Joe Douglas had his eyes on Alijah Vera-Tucker entering the 2021 NFL draft, but the general manager knew the Jets likely wouldn’t have a chance at landing him with the 23rf overall pick.
Instead of turning to Plan B, Douglas sprung into action to go get his guy. New York sent its second first-round selection and both of its third-round picks to the Vikings in exchange for the 14th overall pick and a chance to draft Vera-Tucker. Douglas did not hesitate to bring the USC product onboard, and the move up has paid dividends, as Vera-Tucker has been the Jets’ best offensive lineman this season
Jonathan Taylor reached a top speed of 22.05 mph on this 78-yard TD run, the fastest speed by a ball carrier this season. Taylor is now responsible for the two fastest speeds this season (21.83 mph in Week 8). #StatThat | Powered by @awscloud pic.twitter.com/h75Cuy16eI
Quarterback is a bit of a mess in Week 9, which makes Carson Wentz more appealing
With 3 TDs in his last two games, Michael Pittman could shine bright in tonight's primetime lights. â Listen to @notJDaigle and the crew's Week 9 preview: bit.ly/3k2fumP pic.twitter.com/iGgkZGSdvI
Darius Leonard with **another** punch out. That's 9 takeaways from him this season. It's Week 9.
Colts reserve center Danny Pinter just caught a touchdown, and yes, that is a real sentence.

Nyheim Hines 34 yards to the house. His breakaway speed = incredible
We have activated WR Dezmon Patmon from IR and placed S Khari Willis on IR. We have elevated S Jahleel Addae to the active roster from the practice squad for #NYJvsIND.
Bobby Okereke with the pick off of the Taylor Stallworth deflection. This is the best game of Stallworth's career.
The pass rush disappeared, the secondary was shaky to begin with, and we've got Colts 7, Jets 7. Xavier Rhodes getting beat far too often this season.
Marlon Mack, Ben Banogu among the inactives tonight for the Colts. WRs Dezmen Patmon and Michael Strachan both available to play.
Tonight's the first primetime game the Colts have hosted in the Frank Reich era. Had been on the road for eight straight going back to 2018.
I don't know what happened on that Jet touchdown. Xavier Rhodes and Kenny Moore are playing against twins receivers but Rhodes seemed lost from the start. SMH

Dayo Odeyingbo involved there on the 3rd down package. Taking Tyquan Lewis' spot. Nice rush by Kwity Paye, getting the QB hit.
Dezmon Patmon with his first NFL catch, I believe.
In case there was any confusion, Chris Reed is the Colts' new starting right guard. He earned that spot.
Micheal Pittman physicality carrying DBs for more yards. Nice rub by Zach Pascal.
Matt Pryor's in at right tackle after Braden Smith went to the locker room.
Three Colts defensive linemen won their matchups on that Jets third down (including Dayo Odeyingbo rushing from DT).
Mo Alie-Cox rumbling will wake up the children of Indianapolis.
That was the first time Rock Ya-Sin has been penalized this season.
It might be time for Deon Jackson to get his first NFL carry.
Rare sighting of Kylen Granson in the wild. Nice catch-and-run by the rookie TE. #Colts
It was going to happen at some point right? The Indianapolis Colts finally scored on the shovel pass against the New York Jets on Thursday night.
After Darius Leonard punched out another fumble (shocker), the Colts drove down the field with some big plays from Jonathan Taylor (also shocker). After going for it on fourth-and-one inside the five-yard line, Carson Wentz shoveled to Jack Doyle on an RPO for an easy score.
This score put the Colts up 21-7 with 4:59 remaining in the second quarter
The Indianapolis Colts knew the rushing attack would likely have success Thursday night against the New York Jets, and Nyheim Hines gave them the vote of confidence they needed.
On an eight-play drive that went 88 yards, Hines capped it off with a 34-yard run that resulted in him finding pay dirt. The push from the offensive line was immaculate on this play as Hines bounced off of center Ryan Kelly, cut to the backside of the field and found the end zone.
After making the extra point, this gave the Colts a 7-0 lead in the first quarter with 6:55 remaining in the quarter
