Should You Add Jay Huff?
Huff is up 14.12% and now sits at 57.06% rostered.
Huff has started the past two games for the Pacers, and has scored in double figures in four straight and five of the past six. He is averaging 12 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 3.3 blocks and 0.3 steals over 24.3 minutes in that six-game span.
Overall in 20 games (four starts), Huff is averaging 7.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.1 assists and 0.2 steals across 17.4 minutes a night. He's shooting 42.3% overall and is 32.1% from 3-point land.
He's playing enough of late to have more fantasy value, and that's why he's being added in so many leagues.
Right now, he's worth a roster spot in all deeper leagues, while also being a standard league streaming option for those in need of help at center. He could become a standard league hold in time, so if you have a roster spot to play with, he might be worth the add now.
You'll want to watch him over the course of the season, as it's more likely that his fantasy value rises and falls throughout the year. There seems to be a path toward consistent playing time right now, and Huff has done enough of late to add in a bunch of leagues, so look into him, especially if you need a center.
Should You Add Kevin Porter Jr.?
Porter has been added in 6.04% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 77.3%.
Porter finally returned to the court for the Bucks. He started and played 24 minutes on Saturday, tallying 13 points, six assists, four rebounds and one block and steal. He got up 10 shots, making four.
He has only played in one other game (the first of the season for Milwaukee). Porter got injured less than 10 minutes into that game, and has had a long recovery.
If he's going to keep starting and be playing at least half of games, there's definitely some fantasy value in him to take advantage of.
Right now, he should be scooped up in all deeper leagues. I think he should remain rostered in those leagues no matter what the rest of the season, unless he's dealing with injuries again.
He's already worth adding in some standard leagues, and is at least a streaming option in those leagues. Porter could be a pretty well-rounded fantasy asset when he's back in a groove, so if you aren't ready to add him today, be ready to pounce after another good showing or two.
Milwaukee needs help outside Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Porter could be a nightly fantasy force as a result.
Should You Add Naji Marshall?
Marshall is rostered in 38.04% of leagues after a 5.7% increase today.
He started and played 36 minutes in the team's last game. Marshall provided 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists and steals in the Mavericks win over the Clippers.
Marshall has scored in double figures in four of the past six games, and has stuffed the stat sheet pretty well in that timeframe. He played between 21-33 minutes off the bench in the first five games of that stretch, which led to some inconsistent showings.
If he's starting, Marshall definitely has some fantasy value to take advantage of.
Dallas is dealing with several injuries, so the chance for Marshall to keep starting, or just play a healthy amount of minutes off the bench is there. He will need to keep producing in order to gain more fantasy attention.
I have him as a better deep-league fantasy asset right now, but he's also really close to breaking into standard leagues, so he's worth tracking over the next week. If he keeps starting and producing, you can expect to see him over 50% owned by this time next week.
At the very least, try streaming him in deeper leagues until his role/minutes decrease.
Should You Add Jaylon Tyson?
Tyson is up 5.04% and sits at 35.58% overall.
He has started 11 of the 16 games he's appeared in this season. Tyson missed five games earlier this month, but has looked pretty good in his five games back.
Tyson is averaging 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks over 27.8 minutes in the past five contests. He's at 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks over 26.4 minutes a game for the season. He is shooting 48.6% overall and is 46.1% from deep.
Cleveland also has some injuries that it's dealing with, so Tyson has a chance to contribute a bit more in the meantime, as his averages suggest he is doing.
Unless some of these injuries turn into long absences, Tyson's role and usage over time will probably decrease. With that in mind, I only like adding and utilizing Tyson in deeper fantasy leagues.
He's worth streaming in those leagues if you don't want to add him permanently. I think he needs to do a bit more to get into standard leagues, but isn't the worst streaming option in some setups.
Should You Add Egor Demin?
Demin is owned in 23.93% of leagues after a 5.37% increase.
Demin missed the last Brooklyn game, but had started the 10 games before that. He's appeared in 17 games overall.
He is averaging 8.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks over 22.6 minutes overall this season. Demin is shooting 38.1% overall and is 34.7% from deep.
Demin missed the team's last game, but should return to the court and start for Brooklyn again on Monday. He had 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal over 30 minutes in his last game, so it's pretty easy to see why he's being added today.
He is worth some deep-league adds, but needs to keep producing in order to stick in those leagues. It would also help if he didn't miss any games.
Demin looks like a pretty solid nightly fantasy asset if he keeps starting and playing enough. He's a name to keep an eye on in all league types, but he's definitely worth some deep-league adds today.
Should You Add Steven Adams?
Adams is rostered in 28.83% of leagues after a 3.08% increase.
Adams is coming off a really nice showing in his last contest. He only played 17 minutes off the bench, but contributed 13 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and one block and assist.
He has started four games over his 15 contests played overall this season. Adams is averaging 6.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.7 steals and blocks over 21.6 minutes a game. He is shooting 50.8% from the floor.
Even with Alperen Sengun on the roster, Adams is playing enough most nights to have solid fantasy value. He's a double-double threat, although a lack of minutes can prevent him from getting there.
He's still worth some deep-league adds right now - I only see him as a standard league asset if Sengun is out of the picture. Adams doesn't need to start every night, but he's a decent option at center.
