Another bad injury cropped up for the 49ers midway through the third quarter of the Super Bowl. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel appeared to tweak his hamstring and he went down after pulling up on a route.
Samuel went to the blue tent for evaluation and was officially listed as questionable to return.

Target George Kittle and Deb Samuel as anytime touchdown scorers ahead of Super Bowl 58.
The biggest debate this entire season revolves around San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy. The 49ers have won plenty of games with Purdy under center, but anyone who watches San Francisco play knows Purdy is the furthest thing away from the defining factor in their wins.
Purdy is often the beneficiary of good luck and bad play from defenses, yet to his credit, he does execute the 49ers’ system efficiently. The lack of dynamic play from Purdy coupled with his efficiency has led many to claim he is a game manager, such as former league MVP and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton

In 21 personnel, the 49ers can deploy either fullback Kyle Juszczyk, running back Christian McCaffrey, or wide receiver Deebo Samuel in the backfield interchangeably. Juszczyk, McCaffrey, and Samuel are all capable pass catchers out of the backfield. Also, Juszczyk is a great run-blocker that should be used as a lead for both Samuel and McCaffrey in the ground game
