Nyheim Hines on today's tie: "I don't know how to feel. I feel incomplete. I feel like I got broken up with, then we got back together. It's a cycle of that. You ever been in a toxic relationship? That's what I feel like. A cycle of that. WTF happened. That's what I'll say."

Quenton Nelson on today's tie and the Colts moving forward: "I love this team ... I truly believe in us, but we need to work our ass of next week and go to Jacksonville. We know that challenge and how hard it's been for us to win there." (Colts haven't won in Jax since 2014)
Rodrigo Blankenship, who missed a 42-yarder that would've won it in overtime: "Snap and hold were great. I just need to do my part and finish it off." Adds later: "It didn't feel great coming off my foot."

Kwity Paye is owning overtime. Colts gonna start their first drive of OT at their own 31. Remember, only need a field goal to win it.

The Indianapolis Colts (0-0) and Houston Texans (0-0) released their lists of inactive players ahead of the Week 1 matchup at NRG Stadium on Sunday.
We already knew the Colts would be going into this game without linebacker Shaquille Leonard, who is still working his way back from offseason back surgery. It isn’t clear how much longer he will be out, but it’s encouraging that he logged at least limited practices all week.
Here are the inactive players for the Colts in Week 1:

Braden Smith is not having a great first half.

Mr. Obvious. If Colts are going to get back in this, D has to do something NOW. Matt Haack pinned Houston at own 1.

The Week 1 woes for the Indianapolis Colts reared its ugly head again for the franchise Sunday in the opener against the Houston Texans.
For the first three quarters, it was looking like another season-opening disappointment. The Texans got out to a 20-3 lead with 7:16 left in the third quarter and it looked like all hope was lost for the Colts. Thanks to E.J. Speed’s force fumble off his blitz on Davis Mills, a breath of life came across the team and they scored 17 unanswered points in the final 10 minutes of the fourth quarter

Cooks secured seven of 12 targets for 82 yards in the Texans' 20-20 tie with the Colts on Sunday.
Cooks' reception, receiving yardage and target totals were comfortably team highs, with the veteran unsurprisingly serving as Davis Mills' security blanket most of the afternoon. Cooks finished last season with a flourish that included at least seven receptions and a pair of 100-yard efforts in three of his last four games, and the rapport he built with Mills through the latter's rookie season paid off nicely Sunday. Cooks will next aim to produce against a tough Broncos secondary on the road in Week 2 next Sunday.

Flea flicker magic
» @NFLonCBS pic.twitter.com/FRPeEkgNkn
— Houston Texans (@HoustonTexans) September 11, 2022
The Houston Texans have not been shy about their offense’s capabilities.
On the first play from scrimmage coming out of the halftime locker room, quarterback Davis Mills threw a 42-yard flea flicker to receiver Brandin Cooks.
The Texans threw flea flickers with Mills last year: Week 5 against the New England Patriots and Week 18 against the Tennessee Titans. However, this particular flea flicker demonstrated the timeliness of new offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton’s calls
