Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase: "We waited until the last minute to take shots." Said communication has to be better offensively.

Game News
Roquan Smith, pick six. Joe Burrow checked at the line. Thought he had Tyler Boyd. Smith was sitting underneath the throw, picked it off and took it to the house.

The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 2 with a 1-0 record and facing their first road game of the season against a Chicago Bears team hungry to right the ship after starting the season with a loss.
To the Bengals’ credit, the team — and especially the offense — started faster than most probably would have been comfortable predicting considering Joe Burrow was back on a surgically repaired knee behind a rebuilt offensive line.
But during an overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings, Burrow went a smooth 20-of-27 with 261 yards and two touchdowns. Joe Mixon rushed for 127 yards and a score and Ja’Marr Chase announced his arrival with five catches for 101 yards and a score
Bengals still alive. Justin Fields is intercepted by LOgan Wilson, who returns pick 18 yards to #Bears' 7. On next play, Joe Burrow rifles a 7-yard TD pass to Tee Higgins, cutting deficit to 20-17 with 3:39 left.
Bengals cut deficit to 7-3 on Evan McPherson's 53-yard field goal on opening possession of second half.
Are #Bengals really a different team this year? Chance to prove it here. They are 0-19 under Zac Taylor when trailing after three quarters.
Pretty fun watching Sam Hubbard & Trey Hendrickson rush the edges together. 📺: #CINvsCHI on FOX pic.twitter.com/hOp6gXUPdt
Good: Trey Hendrickson gets a strip sack. Not as good: Logan Wilson tries to pick up the ball, doesn't, Bears recover. Cincinnati gets a stop but lose a ton of field position.
Eli Apple picking right up where he left off last week.
Logan Wilson said on strip sack when he first saw the ball nobody was around it, which signaled to him he could scoop and score. "But I didn't. It sucks."
Bengals safety Vonn Bell with an absolute bonehead taunting penalty.
Bengals inactives against the Bears: Trenton Irwin Trae Waynes Nick McCloud D'Ante Smith Fred Johnson Tyler Shelvin No surprises with Waynes (hamstring) the only injury.
D.J. Reader breaks through for a sack. That's his first with the Bengals.

Today's #Bengals inactives WR Trenton Irwin CB Trae Waynes CB Nick Cloud OL D'Ante Smith OT Fred Johnson DT Tyler Shelvin Same as last week with the addition of Irwin.
Bengals go with Isaiah Prince over Fred Johnson again as the reserve tackle. Jackson Carman is active over D'Ante Smith.
Agreed. Lou Anarumo's unit has done a very good job under the circumstances. twitter.com/SamBlackburnTR…
Also means questionable LB Markus Bailey and CB/PR Darius Phillips are good to go for today.
The Cincinnati Bengals leave Week 2 1-1 after a loss on the road against the Chicago Bears.
Cincinnati looked a little sloppier than Week 1, struggling with penalties, defensively and getting much of anything going on the offensive side of the ball.
Here’s a look at the key notes and numbers to know.
— Get used to seeing Larry Ogunjobi’s name. He was the most disruptive player on the field for either team during the first drive of the game, picking up right where he left off
The Cincinnati Bengals put out a relatively predictable list of inactives in the hours before their Week 2 game against the Chicago Bears.
Cincinnati had quickly ruled out No. 1 corner Trae Waynes early in the week. Fellow corner and punt returner Darius Phillips had a questionable tag going into Sunday too. That would explain the team calling up wideout Trenton Irwin from the practice squad.
The Bengals also elevated safety Sean Davis, the veteran they signed after Irwin left a vacant spot on the practice squad. With safety Ricardo Allen on injured reserve after a strong showing in Week 1, the defense needs ways to keep running the effective three-safety looks it showed during last week’s win
Now Andy Dalton is hurt and Justin Fields is in.
Bakery Mayfield and Andy Dalton are both back in the game for their teams.
Robinson caught two passes for 24 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 20-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Robinson scored on the first drive of the game but didn't make his next catch until the fourth quarter. However, his last two targets of the game were in the end zone on passes from Justin Fields with one being broken up, and the other one he dropped. Despite the disappointing performance, Robinson should continue to be one of the most productive wide receivers in the league, as he'll likely see solid target volume in most games.
Montgomery rushed 20 times for 61 yards and caught three passes for 18 yards in the Bears' 20-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Montgomery was unable to pick up chunks of yardage on most of his runs, which contributed to the Bears not sustaining many long drives. After ceding significant work to Damien Williams last week, the backup only had four touches this week. With 40 touches of his own over the first two weeks of the season, Montgomery will continue to be an excellent weekly fantasy option based on talent and usage.

#Bears LT Jason Peters, listed as questionable with a quad that limited him last week, is expected to play today vs. the #Bengals, source said.
Roquan Smith with a Pick 6 and #Bears take a commanding lead.
The takeaway bucket is getting pretty full. 😠@MROGLETREE_47 with the tip & Angelo Blackson with the INT. #CINvsCHI | #DaBears pic.twitter.com/UzI4YPd9YN
Eddie Jackson with the forced fumble. First takeaway of the season for the Bears defense. That's also two big plays made by Jackson today.
Dominant day for Sean Desai's Bears defense: - Three INTs - One fumble recovery - Four sacks - Eight QB hits - 166 net yards allowed There is 6:40 left in the game.
Cole Kmet back for start of this series too
After that sack, Bears OLB Robert Quinn is now one away from exceeding his total from last season.
Jaylon Johnson with a pick and #Bears can put this game away.
Cairo Santos 22 yd FG attempt is good and #Bears lead 20-3, 6:40 remaining 4th qtr.
Robert Quinn with a sack as #Bears get pressure from the right side with Khalil Mack as well.
#Bears inactives: OLB Trevis Gipson NT Eddie Goldman TE Jesper Horsted OT Alex Taylor WR Breshad Perriman QB Nick Foles
It's bizarre that Trevis Gipson is out today. That leaves the #Bears with only one backup OLB, Jeremiah Attaouchu, though Cheese Jones can play there in a pinch, I guess.
Duke Shelley is the Bears nickel corner this week.
Akiem Hicks also went to the #Bears locker room.
It looks like the Justin Fields era might start a lot sooner than head coach Matt Nagy intended following an injury to starter Andy Dalton in the first half of the Bears’ Week 2 game against the Bengals.
Dalton suffered a knee injury during a second-quarter scramble, where he limped to the sideline. He was examined in the blue injury tent and returned to the field on Chicago’s ensuing series. But after Dalton was sacked, he headed to the locker room shortly after.
The Bears have announced that Dalton is questionable to return with a knee injury, which means it’ll be rookie Justin Fields for the duration, unless Dalton is able to return
