Williams rushed 14 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Bengals.
Williams excelled in the lead role with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) inactive. He benefited from Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes being ruled just short of the goal line on two separate second-quarter drives, as the running back scored a one-yard touchdown on the ensuing play in both cases. If Edwards-Helaire can't go in the season finale against Denver, Williams should continue to lead the Chiefs backfield as Kansas City attempts to secure the top seed in the AFC.

Tyrann Mathieu: This is a response-driven league. Some people are going to talk about some calls late in the game. I still feel like we could've responded a lot better defensively. I didn't think we responded the way we were prepared to respond.

Mike Hilton NEARLY with a pick of Mahomes, but Byron Pringle knocks it away. Still, #Bengals actually force a punt. First time since first series of the game. Now get the ball with chance to take the lead.

The Chiefs, I believe, have run that play 4 times this season. Blake Bell has got a first down each time.

In the second quarter of an eventual AFC North-clinching win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase had a fun exchange with a defender.
After a pass breakup on a target intended for Chase, Charvarius Ward hit the Griddy, Chase’s touchdown celebration. This, while the Chiefs were cruising in 21-7 fashion.
Two plays later, Chase grabbed an 18-yard-touchdown over Ward’s head in a one-on-one situation and hit a Griddy of his own.
After the game, Chase took to Twitter, saw a highlight that clipped the two plays together and had some quick, simple and effective thoughts for his opponent

The Kansas City Chiefs have a concerning injury update and it comes just moments before kickoff.
The Chiefs announced that starting LT Orlando Brown Jr. is questionable to play in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a calf injury. Brown was not listed on the injury report all week leading up to the game which suggests a new injury. Typically, this signals that the injury happened during warmups ahead of the game.
Should Brown be unable to play that’d leave either Lucas Niang or Andrew Wylie to flex out and play left tackle. It’s also possible that a player like LG Joe Thuney could move out to the left side and play some tackle. The team declared Prince Tega Wanogho and Kyle Long inactive for Sunday

Germaine Pratt ruled out by #Bengals. Appears he was negative yesterday but the second test today that would have cleared him fully did not come back negative, so he won't play. Will be Logan Wilson and Markus Bailey leading the way at LB.

My math isn't great, but I believe that was 70-plus air yards on that throw by Mahomes. Incomplete, big play by Vonn Bell.

Bengals DC Lou Anarumo said this week "pressure is the great equalizer." Currently, there's nothing equal about this Mahomes vs Bengals D matchup for that reason.

The Cincinnati Bengals squared up with the AFC-leading Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and took the AFC North crown via a 34-31 win.
Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase dragged the team kicking and screaming into a shootout that was a nail-biting affair start to finish, even when the gap was 14 points.
Here’s a look at some instant analysis coming out of the game.
— In a likely shootout…both offenses went three-and-out to start the game. Chiefs scored on their second drive, with a questionable DPI on Jessie Bates moving them down the field before Eli Apple got beat in coverage. Apple was something to watch with Trae Waynes once again unavailable
