The New England Patriots outside linebacker has made a habit of showing up to his postgame press conferences in stylish clothing. So he faced a question about Mac Jones’ lack of loud and swaggy clothing. And Judon absolutely burned the rookie quarterback. Judon was asked whether he might be able to help Jones improve his fashion sense or “drip.” Judon looked Jones in the face — as they were both in the press conference room — and the linebacker died laughing

The Washington Football Team plays the Philadelphia Eagles for the second time in three weeks Sunday at FedEx Field. While division rivals are familiar with one another, it’s not often they have rematches two weeks apart.

For Washington, this is the second such scenario in consecutive weeks. Last week, Washington faced the Cowboys for the second time in three weeks and was blown out of AT&T Stadium by the beginning of the second quarter.

Washington was without several key starters in the last meeting, including quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen. The WFT started Garrett Gilbert under center, four days after signing him off the Patriots’ practice squad

The New England Patriots had a pair of surprising inactives for Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Receiver N’Keal Harry and cornerback Joejuan Williams, the team’s first and second-round picks in the 2019 draft, were healthy scratches on the inactive list.

The list also included running back J.J. Taylor, cornerback Shaun Wade, quarterback Jarrett Stidham, tight end Devin Asiasi and receiver Nelson Agholor. The Patriots ruled out Agholor, a starter, with a concussion on Friday. He will miss his second straight week since suffering the head injury during Week 15

Ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the New England Patriots are set to get a huge boost. Linebackers Matthew Judon, Ja’whaun Bentley and Brandon King will be activated from the COVIS-19/reserve list in time for Sunday’s game.

Linebacker Dont’a Hightower will also be available for Sunday’s game after missing practice on Friday. This news was first reported by Jim McBride of the Boston Globe.

New England also elevated three players from the practice squad on Friday: defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale, defensive back D’Angelo Ross and receiver Kristian Wilkerson. All three players were active against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16
