There were 15 MLB games started on Tuesday, May 21, but only 14 were completed. One was suspended because of inclement weather, so we’ll talk about that game when it wraps up Wednesday.

Guardians 7, Mets 6

Jose Ramirez and David Fry each hit two-run home runs for Cleveland. Ramirez had two hits and three RBIs total, while Fry also walked once.

Tyler Freeman got on base twice, drove in a run and scored twice for the Guardians. Brayan Rocchio reached twice, drove in a run and scored one run.

Starling Marte and Jeff McNeil each hit two-run homers for New York. Mark Vientos added a solo shot. McNeil had two hits and scored a second run, while Vientos had another hit and run scored.

Francisco Lindor drove in a run on two hits for the Mets. Pete Alonso reached base twice.

Brewers 7, Marlins 5

William Contreras drove in three runs on two hits, walked once and scored a run for Milwaukee. Christian Yelich drove in two runs on a triple, walked twice and scored a run.

Milwaukee’s Willy Adames and Blake Perkins each drove in a run on two hits, with Perkins also walking once and scoring a run. Andruw Monasterio got on base twice, stole a base and scored two runs.

Emmanuel Rivera drove in a run on two hits and scored twice for Miami. Jazz Chisholm Jr. had two hits and runs scored, while Tim Anderson had two knocks and one run scored.

Bryan De La Cruz also had two hits for the Marlins. Otto Lopez drove in two runs on a hit.

Reds 2, Padres 0

Elly De La Cruz drove in a run on two hits for Cincinnati. Will Benson reached twice and scored a run.

Luis Arraez had two of San Diego’s five hits. Jurickson Profar got on base twice.

Pirates 7, Giants 6

Oneil Cruz drove in a run on three hits for Pittsburgh. Nick Gonzales drove in a run on two hits and scored once.

Andrew McCutchen plated a run on two hits for the Pirates. Ji Hwan Bae got on base twice, stole a base, drove in a run and scored two times. Bryan Reynolds drove in two runs without the benefit of a hit. Jack Suwinski and Jared Triolo each got on twice and scored a run.

Thairo Estrada hit a two-run homer for San Francisco, while Matt Chapman added a solo shot. Estrada also walked, drove in another run and scored a second run, while Chapman finished with two total hits.

Wilmer Flores and Marco Luciano each had two hits for the Giants, with Luciano also scoring a run. Luis Matos got on base twice and scored once, while Heliot Ramos reached twice.

Phillies 5, Rangers 2

Bryce Harper hit a solo homer among his two hits, walked once and scored two runs for Philadelphia.

Alec Bohm drove in two runs on two hits, while Kyle Schwarber had two hits and one RBI and run scored. J.T. Realmuto had two knocks and scored once. Brandon Marsh walked twice, stole a base and scored a run.

Corey Seager hit a solo home run for Texas. Jonah Heim had two knocks, while Derek Hill got on base three times, stole a base and scored once.

Twins 10, Nationals 0

Byron Buxton hit two home runs (a solo blast and two-run shot) to lead Minnesota. Willi Castro and Jose Miranda added two-run homers. Castro also walked and scored another run.

Carlos Santana drove in a run on two hits and scored once for the Twins. Kyle Farmer reached twice, stole a base and scored once, while Carlos Correa got on twice and scored once.

Jacob Young had two of Washington’s three hits. Joey Meneses reached base two times.

Red Sox 5, Rays 2

Reese McGuire and Jarren Duran each hit solo homers for Boston. Duran also walked, stole a base and scored a second run, while McGuire had another hit and also walked once.

Rafael Devers got on base twice, stole a base and scored a run for the Red Sox. 

Isaac Paredes drove in two runs on three hits for Tampa Bay. 

Mariners 6, Yankees 3

Dylan Moore hit two home runs (a two-run blast and solo shot) among his three total hits and drove in four runs for Seattle.

Ty France and Luke Raley each hit a solo homer for the Mariners. France had two hits total. Mitch Garver posted two hits and scored once.

Gleyber Torres hit a three-run homer for New York’s only runs. He also walked once. 

White Sox 5, Blue Jays 0

Danny Mendick drove in two runs on two hits for Chicago. Eloy Jimenez had two hits and a run scored before leaving with an injury.

Chicago’s Corey Julks drove in two runs on a hit. He also walked once and stole a base. Paul DeJong got on base twice and scored a run.

Toronto had only two hits and a walk, and no batter reached more than once.

Cubs 4, Braves 3 (10 inn.)

Mike Tauchman drove in two runs on two hits for Chicago. Dansby Swanson had two knocks and a run scored.

Michael Busch scored a pair of runs for the Cubs. Christopher Morel walked three times, while Miguel Amaya had two walks and a hit. 

Orlando Arcia hit a two-run homer among his two hits for Atlanta. Michael Harris II added a solo homer.

Marcell Ozuna reached base twice for the Braves. Jarred Kelenic got on base two times also.

Royals 10, Tigers 3

Bobby Witt Jr. hit two home runs (a two-run homer and solo blast) among his three total hits for Kansas City. Witt had six RBIs and three runs scored in total, along with one stolen base.

Maikel Garcia drove in a run on four hits and scored three runs for the Royals. Hunter Renfroe hit a solo homer, walked and scored two times total.

Salvador Perez added two hits and an RBI for the Royals. Kyle Isbel had two hits and a run scored.

Colt Keith had three hits and an RBI for Detroit. Matt Vierling drove in two runs on two hits and scored once. 

Astros 6, Angels 5 (10 inn.)

Kyle Tucker hit two solo home runs, walked once and scored a third run for Houston. Jon Singleton hit a two-run homer, while Yordan Alvarez added a solo blast. Alvarez had another hit and also walked, while Singleton walked two times.

Jake Meyers had two hits and a walk for the Astros. Jeremy Pena drove in a run on two hits and scored a run. 

Kevin Pillar hit a solo homer and walked for Los Angeles, while Luis Rengifo had a two-run blast among his two hits and drove in three runs total.

Luis Guillorme had two hits and a run scored for the Angels. Willie Calhoun added two knocks, while Nolan Schanuel had three hits and a run scored. Taylor Ward drew two walks.

Athletics 5, Rockies 4

Seth Brown hit a two-run homer for Oakland, while J.D. Davis and Abraham Toro added solo shots. 

Brent Rooker posted two hits for the Athletics. Shea Langeliers walked twice.

Ezequiel Tovar hit two solo home runs for Colorado. Ryan McMahon added a two-run blast.

Elias Diaz led Colorado with three hits. Brenton Doyle got on base two times.

Diamondbacks 7, Dodgers 3

Joc Pederson hit a three-run home run for Arizona. Christian Walker added a solo shot. Pederson finished with two hits, while Walker also walked once.

Eugenio Suarez and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. each had two hits for Arizona, with Suarez also driving in a run and Gurriel scoring once and stealing a base. Kevin Newman got on base twice and scored two runs.

Shohei Ohtani drove in a run on two hits, stole two bases and scored two runs for Los Angeles. Gavin Lux also had two hits.
