If your fantasy football season is over but you still want to get involved with Week 18's NFL action, there's no better way to do it than with some prop bets! Luckily, we have some awesome tools here at FantasySP to help you find the best prop bets each week. Our Prop Bet Finder compares lines across sportsbooks to our projections, highlighting lines that have the biggest percent difference between the two. And our Prop Rankings Tool has historical results for every player and every prop, both how they have performed relative to their lines and how often our projections beat the books.

Welcome to the most chaotic week of the NFL season! If you're reading this, you're likely in a league that is still playing in Week 18. I highly recommend you change that for next year, but for now, let's try to make the best of it. Each of the last few weeks I've been highlighting one player at each position who could have a surprisingly effective performance to help you in the fantasy playoffs. With so many teams resting their stars, this is more crucial than ever in Week 18. Luckily, the amount of players resting also opens up opportunities. Let's get started!

I'm happy to say that I finished off the fantasy football season (in most leagues) strong last week. The Jaguars, Texans, and Bears, were all top 10 options in all scoring formats, with the Jaguars and Texans in particular providing week-winning performances. The Rams were also solid, with the one big miss being the Seahawks, who couldn't stop Mason Rudolph from shining.

If you're reading this article, congratulations on likely having made your fantasy football league's championship in Week 17! Perhaps you did it with the help of last week's article, in which I took a look at one under-the-radar player from each position who could have a big Week 16. The results from that article were good, for the most part. Wan'Dale Robinson at WR was a huge disappointment, catching just three of seven targets for 16 yards, but everyone else was at least okay, not bad at all for players taken straight off the scrap heap. Obviously, the real gem was Joe Flacco, who was the QB1 on the week with 368 yards and three touchdowns, but Mike Geisicki and Justice Hill also turned in solid performances.

Here we are, heading into the final week of the fantasy football playoffs! Like most weeks when you're streaming defenses, my picks last week were a bit of a mixed bag. The Seahawks had a good outing and the Broncos were at least okay, but the Commanders (perhaps not surprisingly) let us down, allowing 30 points to Trevor Siemian and the Jets.

Stars win games in fantasy football. But your lineup is only as good as its weakest link, and this late in the season, that link can be pretty weak. Fantasy football playoff matchups are often decided by guys who come out of absolutely nowhere with a big game. One of my fondest fantasy memories is winning a championship on the backs of DaeSean Hamilton and Elijah McGuire — and that was in a 10-team home league. Even more random players can and will make a difference in deeper leagues. With that in mind, I want to highlight one player at every position who could surprise everyone with a week-winning (or at least not week-losing) performance in Week 16 for the fantasy football semifinals.

Let's take a look at fantasy football's most popular waiver wire options heading into Week 16! We can use the Predictive Analytics tool in the FantasySP Fantasy Assistant to help identify the top candidates. This tool predicts the Expected Waiver Interest (EWI) for every player, plus predicts their new rostership level following this week's waiver moves. Here are its current predictions for this week:

If you used any of the teams I mentioned last week, the big question is whether you picked the right side of the Thursday Night matchup. Both my recommendation of the Bengals and my fade of the Rams had mediocre weeks — which was better may depend on your scoring, but it's unlikely either lost or won a matchup for you. The Chargers and Raiders, however, both teams I recommended, certainly could have. Hopefully, more of you ended up with the Raiders and their 25+ points than the Chargers and a large negative score.

Welcome to the fantasy football playoffs!! Now is the time of year when matchups truly can matter. Getting even the smallest edge can be the difference between being a champion and an also-ran. Luckily, the FantasySP Strength of Schedule Tool is here to help us find players with the best (and worst) matchups in these all-important weeks. I took a look a couple of weeks ago at players to target down the stretch; now, let's find some players to target and avoid for the next three weeks of the fantasy football playoffs.
