Last week was a rough week for defense streaming, as the New York teams finally took revenge after we profitably picked on them all season. Of my four picks, the two playing teams based in the Big Apple (Texans and Packers) both struggled, as did the Patriots on Thursday. Hopefully, you picked the Vikings, who completely shut out the Raiders in one of the ugliest games of the season.

Can you believe it's already the fantasy playoff season? In some ways, it still feels like the season just started, but here we are in Week 14. If your league's playoffs don't start this week, they likely start next week. The fantasy playoffs are, in many ways, an entirely different beast than the rest of the season. Let's take a look at some best ways to maximize your chances at a championship at this stage of the season.

Last week was a mixed bag, as things tend to be in the jungle that is streaming defenses. Of my top two picks, the Falcons were the top-scoring unit in most formats, so that's a big win, but the Jaguars got lit up by Jake Browning. Luckily, all three of my extra options (Buccaneers, Rams, and Chargers) performed somewhere between decent and great, so overall, that's a very solid week for streaming.

Early in the fantasy football season, strength of schedule doesn't matter. For one, matchups are often nowhere near as important as they sometimes feel. Good players can perform regardless of their opponent, while even the best matchup won't turn fantasy duds into superstars. Just as importantly, the NFL is constantly changing, and we have no idea in Week 5 (let alone before the season) which matchups will actually be good when the fantasy playoffs roll around. Just look at Derrick Henry's two playoff matchups with the Texans, which were discussed constantly during the fantasy offseason. Those aren't looking as juicy now that C.J. Stroud has brought hope to Houston; the Texans currently allow the seventh-fewest yards per game rushing yards to running backs.

As always, here's a quick review of last week's picks: My two main options, the Patriots and Broncos, both did great. However, the rapid-fire options were a mixed bag, with the Giants doing well, the Titans doing just okay, and the Bengals falling victim to the new-look Steelers' offense.

There's nothing more fun in fantasy football than making trades. However, it can often be hard to know which players to target, and which of your own you can get good value for. That's where FantasySP's tools come in: We can use the FantasySP Fantasy Assistant to find players that have the most Expected Trade Interest (ETI), and then cross-reference them with the Trade Value Chart to see how much those players are worth. Here are the top players by ETI, let’s take a look at three players from the top of this list that I think are either overvalued or undervalued by the current market:

As always, I want to start by briefly looking back at last week's results, which were mostly positive. My top pick of the Commanders was one of the best defenses of the week, thanks to an incredible nine-sack outing. Both of my two other main picks also performed well; it turns out targeting Tommy DeVito, Aidan O'Connell, and Will Levis is a good strategy for streaming defenses, who knew? My three bonus picks were more of a mixed bag: The Lions were solid, but the Chargers had a mediocre outing and the Titans were straight-up bad.
