Top Pitchers
Toronto Blue Jays’ Jose Berrios picked up a win after striking out seven batters over seven scoreless innings. He allowed just two hits and two walks and hit two batters.
San Francisco Giants’ Logan Webb allowed one run on six hits and a walk over seven innings. Webb got the win and struck out four batters along the way.
Cincinnati Reds’ Andrew Abbott allowed one run on four hits over seven innings to claim a win. He struck out three batters and did not allow a walk.
Houston Astros’ Cristian Javier allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings to earn a win. He struck out five batters along the way.
Pittsburgh Pirates’ Mitch Keller struck out four over seven innings on his way to a win. He allowed two runs on eight hits and no walks.
Los Angeles Dodgers’ Gavin Stone earned a win after allowing two runs over 6 2/3 innings. He allowed five hits and a walk, while striking out four.
Oakland Athletics’ Paul Blackburn tossed 6 1/3 scoreless innings but didn’t factor into the decision. He allowed five hits and two walks, while striking out four.
Los Angeles Angels’ Reid Detmers struck out seven over 6 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up a win. He allowed three hits and two walks.
Seattle Mariners’ Bryce Miller also worked 6 1/3 strong innings in a winning effort. He struck out four, while allowing three hits and three walks. Miller allowed an unearned run.
Atlanta Braves’ Max Fried allowed a run on four hits and a walk over 6 1/3 innings to earn a win. He also struck out four batters.
Arizona Diamondbacks’ Zac Gallen earned a win after tossing six scoreless innings. He allowed four hits and two walks, while striking out seven.
Minnesota Twins’ Bailey Ober took a no decision despite tossing six scoreless innings. He allowed three hits and no walks, while punching out three.
Kansas City Royals’ Cole Ragans also took a no decision despite not allowing a run over six innings. He allowed five hits and a walk, while also hitting a batter, but struck out eight to work out of any trouble.
Washington Nationals’ MacKenzie Gore worked five scoreless innings to earn a win. He allowed four hits and a walk, while striking out 11.
Detroit Tigers’ Tarik Skubal earned a win after pitching five scoreless innings, striking out five along the way. Skubal allowed two hits and two walks.
New York Mets’ Jose Butto struck out nine over six scoreless innings. He allowed two hits and one walk.
Cincinnati’s Nick Lodolo tossed 5 2/3 shutout innings to pick up a win. He allowed just one hit and one walk, but hit two batters. Lodolo struck out 10 along the way.
Chicago Cubs’ Shota Imanaga worked 5 1/3 innings, allowing an unearned run on five hits and two walks, while striking out four. Imanaga earned the win.
Minnesota’s Joe Ryan struck out 12 over six innings, but wasn’t part of the decision. He allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk.
Milwaukee Brewers’ Freddy Peralta struck out 11 over six innings to earn a win. He allowed a run on five hits.
Mets’ Luis Severino allowed just one hit, but it was a home run. He also walked four batters, but struck out four over five innings to earn a win.
Washington’s Jake Irvin also allowed a solo homer for his only run given up. He walked two and struck out five over six innings.
Cubs’ Adbert Alzolay was the only reliever to pick up two saves this weekend. He allowed two hits and no runs, while striking out three.
Cubs’ Hector Neris, Yency Almonte and Mark Leiter Jr. and Oakland’s Lucas Erceg all had two holds out of the bullpen. Almonte struck out three batters, while Erceg had two strikeouts.
