Leaves Week 11 Status In Doubt
Tailback Reggie Bush missed another day of practice with some swelling in his left knee, leaving his status for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay in doubt.Bush's left knee - the same one he's had multiple issues with over the past two years - apparently took a pounding on a few plays last Sunday at St. Louis, which led to some swelling and soreness that hasn't gone away.He has not been available for comment the last two days."He got his treatment early in the week, and we're just trying to see if we can get it close to 100 percent right now," HC Sean Payton said. "So we'll see where he's at tomorrow. Hopefully we can practice him tomorrow. At the same time, I don't want to set it back." (New Orleans Times-Picayune)
FF Today's Take: Pierre Thomas would likely assume Bush's touches and make an even better play than he already was this week vs. the Bucs. Amazingly, Bush hasn't seen double-digit touches in any game since the Saints' Week 5 bye and doesn't appear able to handle much more than 6-8 touches/game at this point in his career.

News: Saints RB Reggie Bush led all Saints running backs with 83 yards in Week 10 at St. Louis. He ran the ball just six times, however. He also caught two passes for 15 yards and had a touchdown both rushing and receiving. Pierre Thomas rushed a team-high 11 times in the game, but got just 37 yards.
