Russell completed a season-best 63.9 percent of his passes (14 for 22) for 109 yards but threw his fifth interception in three games in Sunday's 24-16 loss in San Diego.
Impacts: Russell has completed 48.4 percent of his passes (88 for 182) for 1,000 yards and two touchdowns. He's also been picked off nine times.

Our View: Does the fact that it came against JaMarcus Russell and Oakland make it not count? Merriman is not an IDP option at this point.
