Diamondbacks | Three guaranteed rotation spots
MLB.com reports Arizona Diamondbacks president and CEO Derrick Hall said Diamondbacks SPs Brandon Webb, Dan Haren and Max Scherzer are guaranteed rotation spots. SPs Billy Buckner and Kevin Mulvey could be in the mix, as well as potential free agent signings.

The Associated Press reports that the Arizona Diamondbacks have named P Billy Buckner as their Minor League Pitcher of the Year. Buckner was 9-3 with a 3.32 ERA for Triple-A Reno and won eight of his last nine decisions. He was 4-6 with a 6.40 ERA in 13 starts and three relief appearances at the major league level.
