End of an Era as Reliable Veteran Adam Thielen Officially Retires

In April 2026, veteran wideout Adam Thielen officially announced his retirement from the NFL. Reflecting on a stellar 12-year career, Thielen noted that a shifting perception of his role fueled his decision to step away. He leaves a great legacy, including a late-career 1,014-yard season with Carolina in 2023.

His final season in 2025 saw a steep decline, where he caught just 19 passes for 186 yards and zero scores over 15 games. This drop-off mirrored a shrinking role in the passing game, prompting fantasy managers to drop him as his rostership bottomed out.

With Thielen officially retired, he holds zero fantasy value for 2026. He is completely off draft boards and our models project no stats for him this year. Dynasty managers can safely drop him to free up roster space.
