FRISCO -- Stars forward Jamie Benn will be out at least the next two games after being cut on the leg with a skate in Thursday’s 3-2 overtime win against the Calgary Flames at American Airlines Center.Benn was at the Stars practice facility on Friday, walking around on crutches.“It’s a little unlucky, but lucky at the same time. It didn’t damage it too bad. I am going to get back on rehab here and I hope to be back soon,” Benn said.

Impacts: Stars coach Glen Gulutzan is hoping that Benn will be able to play on Tuesday. "He's got a significant cut on his leg," Gulutzan said. "Thank goodness nothing else was involved, just a very deep, significant, painful cut, and we're glad that nothing else happened. So he'll be a day to day guy."

Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said after practice today that Jamie Benn will probably be out Saturday at Phoenix and Sunday vs. Nashville and could possibly return Tuesday at Montreal.

``We're hoping on Tuesday,'' Gulutzan said. ``He's got a significant cut on his leg, Thank goodness nothing else was involved, just a very deep, significant, painful cut, and we're glad that nothing else happened. So he'll be a day to day guy.''

Benn had 13 stitches to close the cut.

Kari Lehtonen will be in goal on Saturday at Phoenix, and then they are leaning toward Richard Bachman on Sunday at home against Nashville
