Joe Flacco

-- When will the NFL finally disavow the utterly ridiculous 'Quarterback Wins' statistic? Right about when agents start using that number to push their clients' future contracts into the stratosphere. America, that time has come. The agent for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco believes that his guy is worth top-five money because of his 44-20 'record' in the regular season.

'If the game is about wins and losses, he has to be in the top five [quarterbacks],' [agent Joe] Linta said. 'He is a player who has been extremely durable, never missed a game. And he's done something that no one has ever done. In his four years in the league, he has never missed a game and has more wins than any other quarterback.

Must watch NFL Live tonight

A reminder to tune into NFL Live on ESPN tonight at 7 p.m. for some must-see TV for AFC North fans. The show will be previewing all eight divisions in the upcoming weeks, and the first to receive the star treatment is the AFC North (and rightfully so considering it's the home of three playoff teams from last season).I'm interested to see how the analysts answer the one big question that was posed for each division team. There will also be an interview with Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.

AFC North players in the crosshairs

Here's a look at the players on each AFC North team who will be most heavily scrutinized, including Ravens QB Joe Flacco

Flacco: We have to score more

In the wake of the injury to pass rusher Terrell Suggs, the Ravens offense might have to shoulder more of the load this year to help the team win. That sounds great to quarterback Joe Flacco, who told the official team website that he's fine with being responsible for putting more points on the board. "I want us to get in more of a mindset where we have to score points,” Flacco said. "I think we've got the talent around us, definitely. I think we need to go out there and we need to make our minds up that we're going to do that. I think we're a team that should be able to go out there and put 40 up and not really look back."

Analysis: Flacco pointed out that having that pressure to score more isn't a bad thing and that the young players that contributed last year should do better this year. Armed with a good receiving corps solidified by second-year speedster Torrey Smith and reliable route runner Anquan Boldin, not to mention Ray Rice in the backfield, Flacco should be on pace to put up some good stats once more. He's also entering a contract year, which should fire him up to play to his potential. No one's drafting Flacco to be a starter in Fantasy but he's a quality No. 2 Fantasy quarterback worth a pick starting in the middle/late rounds.
