Starting pitching the real key to Dodgers 2012 success
It’s official. We have made it through another off-season, you and I. We’ve survived an unplanned baseball-barren October (again), plus November, December, January, half of February, and made it to the other side.
For some reason the Dodgers are a week behind a bunch of clubs, later than usual, and open camp a week from tomorrow. I don’t care. I’m declaring the thaw finito, and am considering Spring Training as having begun anyway.
I’m sure someone’s in the training room at Camelback as we speak. We’ll just have to wait a little longer for the Clayton Kershaw-led Dodgers pitchers and catchers to break in their new practice unis, jump their first sets of jumping jacks, and occupy themselves with whatever in the world else they do the first official day. The off-season is over and all is right with the world. For the moment
