The Denver Broncos could consider taking Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins if he is available when they pick in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Our View: Cousins is a tough leader who reminds many in the scouting community of former Broncos QB Kyle Orton. He grades out as a quality backup QB but doesn't have starting potential in our opinion. Cousins is composed and has good accuracy on short and underneath routes. However, his stats are inflated by the screen passes and short passes of the Spartans offense. He struggles when throwing into tight windows downfield.
