Harris: Vikings will ‘get full dose of Tim Tebow’

Posted:5 hrs 54 mins ago. | Source (NFL.com) (QB - min)

You shouldn't expect to see Brett Favre in the Vikings' season finale against the Broncos, but you should expect to see quite a bit of Tim Tebow.

League won't confirm or deny existence of investigation regarding Favre allegations

Posted:10 hrs 54 mins ago. | Source (profootballtalk.com) (QB - min)

In early August, only a day after the latest (and hopefully last) Brett Favre retirement false alarm, a report emerged from Deadspin regarding allegations that Favre, while playing for the Jets, had sent via text message offensive photos to a...

Report: Vikes considering starting Chris DeGeare

Posted:20 hrs 29 mins ago. | Source (fanball.com) (QB - min)

According to ESPN 1500 Twin Cities, the Vikings are considering starting rookie Chris DeGeare at right guard.

Our View: Under this scenario, the Vikes would shift veteran Anthony Herrera to center. That'd be a huge upgrade over current pivot John Sullivan, and just about any change would be welcome considering how bad the team run blocked last season. DeGeare's got great size at 335 pounds, and this could be the move the team needs to keep the ground game churning and Brett Favre somewhat healthy.

Bret,
I feel that you are such a role model for young children. You have demestrated that you don't give up no matter how hard it is. I think you would be a great coach for some lucky NFL team. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

New Orleans violated rules which prohibit "driving the quarterback into the turf". If the officials had any spine, they should have halted the game after the pattern was clear, and awarded the victory to the Minnesota Vikings.

It appeared to me that Vikings quarterback, Brett Favre, suffered a mild concussion from repeated tackles and was unable to throw passes accurately midway, with something like 4 turnovers and interceptions. Brett Favre has said that he has suffered many concussions in his career, but that does not excuse the officials of this game whose primary job is to protect players from abuse that results in permanent damage, or the New Orleans defense.

You really show courage and endurance on the field.
