Best Fantasy Hockey Pickups
The Detroit Red Wings are one of two teams with four games this week, but three of them are on light nights, making them a great source for streamers. The Minnesota Wild are the other team with four games this week, but they only have one light night game, so you’ll have to look ahead to make sure you can fit them into your lineup before adding them.
Daily Game Breakdown:
- MON: 5
- TUE: 11
- WED: 3
- THU: 12
- FRI: 4
- SAT: 14
- SUN: 0
C Robby Fabbri, Detroit Red Wings
When healthy, Fabbri is a point-a-night player for the Red Wings. He is playing extremely well right now and can fit in on any line and still produce. With Detroit having four games this week, he is a great streaming option or injury replacement.
C Joe Veleno, Detroit Red Wings
Veleno has been centering with Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane. Plus, he’s replaced Dylan Larkin on PP1 while he’s out of the lineup. Even with Larkin returning, Veleno has proven to be a good source of secondary scoring.
D Mike Reilly, New York Islanders
The Islanders are giving Reilly about 20 minutes a night over the last two weeks, with some power play time. He has 21 shots, 11 hits, eight blocks, and five points over that period, so grab him while he’s hot.
RW Troy Terry, Anaheim Ducks
Terry is on the top line and top power-play unit for the Ducks and has two goals and four points over his last three starts. He is not great at the plus/minus, so you may have to balance that out, but he was 30 30-goal scorer last year.
C/RW Gabriel Vilardi, Winnipeg Jets
Kyle Connor’s injury has Villardi playing more with Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers on the top line, and he is also on the top power-play line more often. This makes him a valuable option as long as Connor is off the ice.
