According to The Hartford Courant's Dom Amore, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP John Lackey may be brought back to pitch Game 7 of the American League Championship Series if rain delays Game 6. Right now, SP Jered Weaver is the projected starter.

News: Angels SP Jered Weaver didn't last long in Game 3 of the ALCS against the Yankees on Monday. He wasn't especially effective either, allowing three runs on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts in five innings. He didn't factor in the decision since the Angels ultimately won in 11 innings. [...]

Jered Weaver didn't factor into the decision on Monday as they Angels outlasted the Yankees 5-4 in 11 innings to cut their defecit in the series to 2-1. Weaver went five innings and allowed three runs on five hits while walking three and striking out four.
Our View: Weaver wasn't nearly as dominating in this outing as he was in the first round against Boston, but he gave his team a chance to win tonight. The Angels despertely needed this win, and now they will have a chance to even the series in Game 4.
