Jacob deGrom Regains Dominant Form with Flawless Stretch

Jacob deGrom has been absolutely locked in recently, posting a flawless 0.00 ERA and a tiny 0.91 WHIP with 14 strikeouts over his last 11 innings. He recently secured his 100th career victory, providing a major lift for the second-place Rangers (33-34) as they look to close a two-game division deficit. Currently healthy and slotted in as a key veteran starter in the rotation, his minor knee and neck issues from earlier this spring are fully in the rearview mirror.

The elite run over his last two outings is a reminder of deGrom's slate-breaking ability, even if his 4.15 ERA over the last 30 days shows some occasional speed bumps. However, his overall season mark of a 3.24 ERA and 1.01 WHIP across 69.5 innings aligns beautifully with our rest-of-season projection of a 3.04 ERA and 1.02 WHIP.
