The Associated Press reports Baltimore Orioles SP David Hernandez (4-10) allowed five runs and seven hits in 4 1/3 innings to lose to the Tampa Bay Rays Wednesday, Sept. 30. He is winless in his last nine starts, including six losses.

David Hernandez got hit hard on Wednesday, allowing five earned runs in just 4.1 innings, as Baltimore lost 5-3 in Tampa Bay.
Our View: Hernandez fell to 4-10 on the season, with a woeful 5.42 ERA. At only age 24, however, he figures to get another shot in the Orioles rotation in 2010.
