Here's one of the bigger surprises in the closer ranks. Even though he faded down the stretch -- he gave up five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings over three outings before Sunday -- Aardsma ended up tied for fourth among American Leaguers in saves. He also produced fantastic pitching averages with a 2.52 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP to make himself a highly-valued closer option going into 2010.
