Twins outfielder Josh Willingham was stuck on a seven-game homerless streak heading into Friday’s matchup with the Brewers, so he decided to end that run early on, belting his eighth home run of the season with two outs in the first inning. The home run came with a runner on base, giving Willingham his 23rd and 24th RBI of the season. He would finish the game 2 for 5 with the two RBI and a run scored, as the Twins defeated the Brewers, 11-3.
Analysis: After a scorching hot start to the season, Willingham has been hitting just .231 in the month of May, however he has still be productive overall with three home runs and nine RBI. He is not as good as he appeared in April, however he has still been productive, so he should be viewed as a viable Fantasy outfielder in most leagues.
