Giancarlo Stanton remains sidelined with a calf strain, but a return timeline is starting to take shape.

Giancarlo Stanton has not played since late April due to a right calf strain. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman recently shared a positive update on his recovery timeline, though the veteran remains on the injured list. The second-place Yankees, sporting a 38-26 record, are eagerly awaiting his return to boost a lineup also missing Aaron Judge.

Before the injury, Stanton hit .256 with three home runs across 24 games. Our projection models expect him to hit .234 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI over 394 at-bats. The power remains elite when he is on the field, but his lengthy history of soft-tissue injuries makes him a highly volatile asset.
