The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher would not comment on the severity of QB Vince Young's (hand) hand injury Friday, Aug. 29. Young was seen leaving the team's facility with his right hand taped. When asked if the team planned to X-ray or run other tests on Young's right hand, Fisher said only that the quarterback was doing well. "We'll have a full injury report for you (next) Friday," Fisher said. "He'll be designated as whether he practiced or did not practice. At this point, I would expect he would practice."

The Titans are being quiet regarding Vince Young's hand injury, according to ESPN. Young bruised his throwing hand in the first half of Thursday night's 23-21 preseason finale win over the Packers, and he didn't return for the first series of the third quarter as originally intended. When asked if the Titans planned to X-ray or run other exams on Young's right hand, coach Jeff Fisher replied only that Young was doing well. Fisher added, "We'll have a full injury report for you next Friday. He'll be designated as whether he practiced or did not practice. At this point, I would expect he would practice."Young had his ailing right hand taped as he left the Titans' offices on Friday. As of now, he should continue to be drafted as a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Quarterback Vince Young has not looked good through two preseason games (7-for-19, no touchdowns), but his coach isn't worried. "He was very good at where to go and through his progressions. That was not a problem. He was sharp," head coach Jeff Fisher tells the AP. "The completions, the incomplete passes and things, you look at the numbers and say he struggled. Theres reasons for things that happened each play. He did misfire on a couple of them. He had people in his face in a couple plays; he couldnt step up." Fisher adds that Young was hindered by a basic game plan.The Titans have a new coordinator and are working in some new weapons like Alge Crumpler, Justin McCareins, and Chris Johnson. Yeah, we'd like to see Young look a lot better, but we're not going to panic after two meaningless contests. Vince remains a low-end No. 2 fantasy quarterback.
