Orioles 2, Yankees 0

Grayson Rodriguez improved to 4-1 after working 5 2/3 scoreless innings for Baltimore. He allowed five hits and three walks, while striking out three batters.

Danny Coulombe earned his first save after working a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Normal closer Craig Kimbrel is dealing with a back injury, so Coulombe could get more save opportunities if Kimbrel hits the injured list.

Clarke Schmidt took the loss for New York, falling to 2-1. He allowed a run on three hits and three walks across 5 2/3 innings, while striking out five.

Nationals 7, Marlins 2

Jake Irvin earned the win to improve to 2-2 on the season. He allowed two runs on four hits over six innings. Irvin struck out three and didn’t walk a batter.

Trevor Rogers fell to 0-4 after allowing three runs on four hits and three walks across five innings. He struck out three batters.

Blue Jays 6, Royals 5

Yariel Rodriguez started for Toronto, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks across 3 2/3 innings, while striking out one. 

Genesis Cabrera got the win out of the bullpen, while Nate Pearson picked up his first save. Normal closer Jordan Romano got the day off.

Jonathan Bowlan started for KC and was dealt the loss after allowing four runs on six hits and three walks across 2 2/3 innings. He struck out three batters.

Cubs 3, Mets 1

Jameson Taillon started for Chicago and allowed a run on four hits and a walk over 7 1/3 innings. He only struck out one batter.

Mark Leiter Jr. got his first win out of the bullpen, while Hector Neris worked the ninth to earn his fourth save.

Luis Severino started for New York and allowed a run on one hit and two walks over eight innings. He struck out five batters along the way. Closer Edwin Diaz took the loss after allowing two ninth-inning runs.

Twins 3, White Sox 2

Joe Ryan started for Minnesota, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three batters.

Griffin Jax earned his second win out of the pen, while Caleb Thielbar earned his second save.

Garrett Crochet started and struck out seven over five innings for Chicago. He allowed two runs on two hits and a walk.

John Brebbia took the loss after allowing a run in the ninth.

Rays 1, Brewers 0

Ryan Pepiot improved to 3-2 after striking out seven over six scoreless innings. He gave up two hits and didn’t walk a batter.

Jason Adam earned his first save after working out of trouble in the ninth inning.

Bryse Wilson started and struck out six over six innings for Milwaukee. He gave up a run on four hits and two walks.

Angels 6, Phillies 5

Griffin Canning started for Los Angeles, allowing four runs on three hits and five walks, while striking out one. 

Adam Cimber earned his second win out of the bullpen and Carlos Estevez got his fifth save despite allowing a run in the ninth.

Cristopher Sanchez started for Philadelphia, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out just one batter.

Orion Kerkering was charged with a blown save. Seranthony Dominguez took his second loss after allowing two runs.

Dodgers 8, Diamondbacks 4

James Paxton improved to 3-0 after pitching five innings for Los Angeles. He allowed four runs on six hits and five walks, while striking out four.

Tommy Henry took the loss for Arizona, giving up two runs on five hits and two walks over four innings. Henry did not record a strikeout.

Athletics 5, Pirates 1

Joe Boyle bumped his record to 2-4 after striking out four batters over five innings. The Oakland starter allowed a run on one hit and four walks.

Bailey Falter started for Pittsburgh, giving up five runs on six hits over five innings. Falter struck out five batters and walked none.

Reds 5, Padres 2

Nick Lodolo improved to 3-0 after striking out 11 batters across seven innings. He allowed a run on one hit and two walks. Lodolo has a 1.88 earned run average so far this season.

Matt Waldron took the loss after allowing four runs on six hits across six innings. He struck out four batters and walked none.

Mariners 2, Braves 1

Bryce Miller started for Seattle, striking out 10 in seven innings. He allowed a run on two hits and one walk. Miller has a 2.04 ERA this season.

Austin Voth earned his first win out of the bullpen after striking out three batters in an inning of work.

Max Fried started for Atlanta, striking out seven across six scoreless and hitless innings. Fried allowed just two walks.

A.J. Minter was charged with a blown save and second loss after giving up two runs in the bottom of the ninth.
