Most teams sit in the middle of the league. Most players are also in the middle: It’s the bell curve distribution that drives us. That meaty part in the middle is where streamers live, those players who are better than replacement level but don’t stand out among the elite.
The issue here is that fantasy owners are putting a lot of stock in a very small sample size. Who is to even say that White is better than Mattison, who has also flashed in the past? The biggest concern is that White just isn't all that good. If he ends up in a timeshare he could be a fantasy disaster if you're relying on him as your RB2 or flex option.
It’s not often you’ll find a fantasy article focused on just one game for a baseball player. But after what Pittsburgh Pirates' Paul Skenes did on Friday, the baseball world is buzzing.
After covering some buy low fantasy baseball candidates yesterday, it’s time to discuss some sell high options.
The weekend is here, which means it’s time to discuss some more fantasy baseball waiver wire options.
There were only six MLB games played on Thursday, May 16. Instead of breaking down the top hitters and pitchers in different stories, we’ll cover it all in this article.
Their QB will turn 41 this season and is coming off a major injury after having a subpar season in 2022. The Jets offensive line is also still terrible and the defense is expected to be excellent. That points to a low low-scoring game in which we only like two players on the Jets and don't expect a big game from the 49ers' passing offensive. Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall and Christian McCaffrey are the only players we love here and McCaffrey has a terrible matchup.
With very few viable streamers yesterday, I re-evaluated the best teams to attack with opposing pitchers in fantasy baseball based on both recent and season-long performances. You’d be able to guess most of the teams that stood out (the Marlins, Pirates, etc.); it’s still nice to have some statistical reasoning behind targeting those squads, though.
A few weeks back, I discussed some buy low and sell high fantasy baseball trade candidates. It was pretty well received, so we're back with another installment in week eight of the season.
