Potential NBA Blockbuster Trade Looming: Celtics Could Trade Jaylen Brown & More For Kevin Durant

This morning, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported that the Boston Celtics have offered All-Star Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and one future first-round draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Kevin Durant.

The Nets quickly rejected the offer and requested a trade package from Boston that would include at least Brown, Defensive Player of the Year, Marcus Smart, draft picks, and/or rotation players for KD.

Philadelphia 76ers & James Harden Agree To $68.6 Million, Two-Year Extension

After being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers midway through last season, the Sixers offered James Harden a two-year deal worth close to $70 million. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday night that this deal would also include a player option. 

Harden was ready to sacrifice profit to ensure that he would return to Philly for another year. He will return to the team alongside C Joel Embiid and PG Tyrese Maxey. In addition, the 76ers brought guard De'Anthony Melton and SF PJ Tucker on board for next season.

Nuggets Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic to Sign $260 Million Supermax Contract Extension

Nikola Jokic is the best center in the league. He’s won the two consecutive league MVP’s and continues to produce some of the best statistics in the association. This year, Joker finished the regular season averaging 27.1 points while converting 58.3% of his field goals. He additionally chipped in with 7.9 assists and 13.8 rebounds per game. The Athletic reported today that Jokic is expected to sign a five-year, $260 million supermax deal in July. Denver fell short of making an impact in the postseason, despite Jokic’s heroics. The team did not have Micheal Porter Jr and Jamal Murray for the majority of the regular season and the entirety of the playoffs.
