There is a combination of good and bad NBA injury news to report this week, so let’s start with the bad. Karl-Anthony Towns suffered a pretty severely strained hamstring last week. In addition, SG Bradley Beal of the Wizards also strained his hamstring and won’t be re-evaluated until next week.

The Rams just gave an update on Cooper Kupp’s injury status and it’s not good news for fantasy owners.
The Los Angeles Rams just announced that their star wideout will undergo surgery on his injured ankle, and he will be placed on injured reserve. This will force him to miss at least the next four games which is the remainder of the fantasy regular season in most leagues. The news get’s worse as it’s unlikely he misses just four games. A minor high-ankle sprain can hold a player out for four weeks and this clearly isn’t mild. If you are a Kupp owner you need to be prepared to be without him for the remainder of the season.
