<![CDATA[Jags CB Jalen Ramsey: Marcus Mariota a great QB for Titans]]> Jalen Ramsey is never at a loss for words. The All-Pro recently gave an interview to GQ where he went down the list of starting quarterbacks in the NFL and gave his thoughts on each. After bashing guys like Joe Flacco and Josh Allen, he actually had some positive words for Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota.

When asked about which quarterbacks don’t “suck,” Mariota was the third quarterback who came to mind for Ramsey.

Aaron Rodgers does not. Tom Brady doesn’t,” he told GQ’s Clay Skipper. “I gotta think now, about all the teams. I think Marcus Mariota is a great quarterback for their team.]]> 5272450 Wed, 15 Aug 2018 14:00:02 EDT Titans Wire

In an interview with GQ, Ramsey went on a trash-talk kill-spree by ripping into many of the quarterbacks in the NFL. Brady, however, was one of the few who Ramsey did not trash. Brady’s company included Aaron Rodgers, Carson Wentz, Deshaun Watson, Marcus Mariota and Tyrod Taylor.

Though, Ramsey’s comments on Brady weren’t exactly praise. The Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback was asked which quarterbacks don’t suck. He listed Brady and Rodgers first. But he went so far as to call Wentz and Watson future MVPs. So Ramsey could have been kinder to Brady, the reigning MVP]]> 5272365 Wed, 15 Aug 2018 11:51:01 EDT Patriots Wire
<![CDATA[Tom Brady sidesteps whether he still plans to play until he’s 45]]> Tom Brady told WEEI that he hopes to be with the Patriots “next year and hopefully beyond.” That means he’ll play at least until he’s 43. While meeting with the media, Brady spoke about what it’s been like for him to work with Decker, an eight-year veteran in the NFL, over the last 11 days since he signed with the team.

“The thing about him is that I’ve watched him play a lot of football for a lot of years,” Brady said Tuesday after practice. “He’s been on the opposing sideline a lot. While the former Broncos, Jets and Titans wide receiver made a few impressive catches near the end of they day, the majority of his showing was shaky at best. He dropped three passes from Tom Brady and messed up a couple of his routes.

Brady was 16 of 29 with an interception. He spent a lot of time with Eric Decker, who had three drops in early work (1-on-1 and side session with Brady) and ran two wrong routes but finished with a couple nice catches]]> 5271503 Tue, 14 Aug 2018 12:45:01 EDT Patriots Wire
<![CDATA[Tom Brady doesn't want 2018 to be his last season playing football]]> Tom Brady’s future in the NFL has been called into question over the last year. He has said many times he wants to play until he is 45. Though, he actions say otherwise on occasion.

Tuesday morning on WEEI’s radio show “Kirk & Callahan,” Brady again turned the script on how long he expects to play in the NFL.

“I certainly expect to be here next year and hopefully beyond,” Brady said. “Like I’ve said, I have goals to play for a long time. I still love doing it. I still want to do it, but I am also focused on what I need to do this year. It’s a tough challenge. It’s a great challenge. <![CDATA[Tom Brady, Bill Belichick's priorities remain the same: 'We’re here to win']]> Tom Brady seemed to try to explain away the reports of conflict between himself and Bill Belichick.

During an appearance on WEEI’s “The Kirk and Callahan Show,” Brady broached the topic of his relationship with Belichick, which had been a touchy subject during the offseason.

“I think our priorities are the same as they have always been,” Brady told WEEI on Tuesday morning. “I think that is why we get along so well. We’re here to win and like I said, it has been a very professional environment that he has created. I think I am very lucky to be in that environment. I think he is the best coach that has ever coached in the NFL, and I feel very privileged to kind of have been mentored by him for as long as I have. Not many players have been able to be coached by the greatest coach of all-time and I have. I think I am very lucky to be able have had that. Hopefully we can go out and have a great season.
