Those numbers aren’t too flashy on the surface, but they carry huge ramifications later on down the line. He’s gaining more ground on Saints legend Deuce McAllister’s franchise records.

McAllister set the bar for every Saints running back to play after him with 6,096 career rushing yards and 49 touchdowns. If not for Ingram, those records would have lasted for years to come; the only other players to come close were Pierre Thomas (3,745 yards and 28 scores) and Reggie Bush (2,090 yards and 17 touchdowns). No other running back in the top 12 in Saints history has played since 2001]]> 5327635 Thu, 11 Oct 2018 14:24:01 EDT Saints Wire
<![CDATA[Week 6 Rankings (2018): Top 40 Running Backs]]> Mark Ingram back from suspension, he is gone this week as the Saints are one of the two teams on bye. This also means fantasy owners must make due without Alvin Kamara, but other than that it’s a relatively quiet week at the position. That doesn’t mean we are without injury, questions or indecision, but it’s simply the normal frustrating decisions that we face and nothing out of the ordinary. With that being said, let’s take a look at how our options rank this week]]> 5326398 Wed, 10 Oct 2018 4:36:01 EDT rotoprofessor <![CDATA[Scores twice in return]]> Ingram rushed 16 times for 53 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's 43-19 win over the Redskins. He also caught two of three targets for 20 yards.

Ingram marked his return from suspension by scoring a two-yard touchdown on his first drive back. He later doubled his touchdown tally by plunging in from one yard during the second quarter, showing power around the goal line. On the night, his 18 touches comfortably surpassed Alvin Kamara's nine, but considering New Orleans led comfortably for the better part of the contest, it's of no surprise the team leaned on the more fresh Ingram to grind out the clock.
