The injury, suffered in Week 2 against the Packers, also caused Cook to miss Week 3.

The hope is that Cook can play on Sunday at home against the Cardinals.

On the season, Cook (along with the rest of the Vikings) has struggled running the ball. On 36 carries, he has just 98 yards. If Cook can’t play, which would really be a disappointment, Latavius Murray would get the nod]]> 5327076 Wed, 10 Oct 2018 20:12:01 EDT Vikings Wire

The #Vikings are not expecting RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) to play Sunday vs. the #Eagles, sources say. It would take an impressive turnaround for him to be on the field. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Expect Latavius Murray to see the bulk of carries for the Vikings in Week 5. Unfortunately, the matchup is brutal as the Eagles have given up next to nothing to running backs thus far in 2018. Murray is a flex play at best in what should be a pass-heavy gameplan from the Vikings.]]> 5323319 Sun, 07 Oct 2018 3:09:01 EDT

Mike Zimmer called Dalvin Cook questionable for Sunday. (Chris Tomasson on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Cook did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, so his Week 5 prospects are not looking good. Latavius Murray would be in line for another start, but he has yet to post a quality fantasy performance. Poor performance on the offensive line has been to blame for most of that, but it seems unlikely Murray or any other Minnesota running back is going to get it going against the Eagles' stout run defense. If Cook doesn't play, most owners should be able to find a better start than Murray.]]> 5321187 Thu, 04 Oct 2018 19:51:01 EDT
