With Los Angeles trailing by 17 and the Eagles in scoring range, Talib picked off Nick Foles and returned it 30 yards to the Rams’ 35-yard line.

It saved the Rams from giving up at least a field goal, giving the offense another possession.

<![CDATA[Aqib Talib still 'not all the way' back yet, expects to be for playoffs]]> Aqib Talib went down in Week 3 with a severe ankle injury, landing him on IR for eight games.

The secondary was borderline dominant in those first three weeks, and not surprisingly, it’s been outstanding the last two games with Talib back in the mix. That’s no coincidence, but as well as Talib has played since returning in Week 13, he’s still not 100 percent healthy yet]]> 5385432 Wed, 12 Dec 2018 9:27:02 EDT Rams Wire
<![CDATA[Sean McVay provides Rams injury updates, Dominique Hatfield going on IR]]> Cooper Kupp and Aqib Talib missing extended time. On Sunday in Chicago, a few players suffered injuries but only one is significant.

Sean McVay provided an update on Dominique Hatfield’s status Monday after he was carted off the field in the Rams’ Week 14 loss. He suffered a significant ankle injury – one similar to Pharoh Cooper’s – and will be placed on injured reserve.

“Unfortunately, he’s going to have to get a similar surgery to what Pharoh had,” McVay said. “So, that’s going to mean IR for him. Fortunately, there was nothing with the fibula or anything like that, but just some of the ligaments – got to go in there and get that tight-rope procedure where you get those things tightened up.]]> 5384534 Tue, 11 Dec 2018 8:57:01 EDT Rams Wire

He was on the field for just 26 plays in the Los Angeles Rams’ 30-16 win over the Detroit Lions, playing extremely well in limited action.

Sean McVay said it was the plan all along to ease Talib back into action after he missed eight straight games with an ankle injury. He checked off the first box and now Talib is ready to go full speed in Week 14 against Chicago.

On Thursday, McVay indicated that Talib won’t be on a snap limit this weekend and should be a full-go]]> 5380324 Thu, 06 Dec 2018 17:39:01 EDT Rams Wire
