Patriots defense stands ground against Steelers in AFC Championship Game win

Posted 6 hrs ago. via Boston Herald

FOXBORO — The Steelers had their chance to whittle into a double-digit deficit in the final minute of the first half last night.Trailing by 11, they marched down to the Patriots 1-yard line, fully ready to crack the end zone again. Twice the Steelers sent DeAngelo Williams into the line looking for that elusive yard, and both times he was dropped for losses.
