The #Broncos are starting to really pound the ball on the #Jets. They can't stop Javonte Williams. Denver RB is up to 74 yards on 14 carries -- 5.3 per. Denver into Jets territory (35).
Down by two points in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets on Sunday, Javonte Williams turned back the clock.
On first-and-10 with 13:34 to go, the Broncos running back sliced through a hole for a 9-yard gain. On the next play, he went around the right side for another 9 yards. Then he delivered a run reminiscent of his rookie season back in 2021, bursting up the middle on second-and-9 for 16 yards down to New York’s 35-yard line.
The eight-play, 41-yard drive ended with kicker Wil Lutz converting the go-ahead 47-yard field goal. And it was almost all Williams

In Week 4, Bo Nix finally threw his first touchdown pass.
The Broncos rookie quarterback connected with Courtland Sutton for an 8-yard pass in the end zone Sunday against the Jets. It capped off an 11-play, 87-yard drive that gave Denver a 7-6 lead.

Quincy Williams might be the best linebacker in the NFL. At the minimum he is the best outside linebacker (4-3). The job the #Jets have done with him is truly remarkable. That's assistant coach Mike Rutenberg. Williams was a mad man on the field his first year with #NYJ -- plenty of big hits, but lots of MEs, too. He's developed so well since then. Such a headsy player. Rarely is he out of position, making a mistake. Then you add in his aggression & speed? You get an absurd football player.
#Jets RB Breece Hall says he can't put finger on why it's been such tough sledding for him to start to this season. Said he's focal point of most defenses. He's just trying to do his 1/11th.
