Chase Young generated 10 pressures (tying a career high) on 36 pass rushes against the Giants, including 6 pressures in under 2.5 seconds. On the season, Young currently ranks 4th in the NFL in pressures (61) entering the rest of the Week 14 slate. #NOvsNYG | #Saints pic.x.com/qxThkmUmhQ

Blake Grupe’s performance this year has flown under the radar. Not only has the second year player been a more accurate kicker than he was his rookie season, Grupe has also shown good range in 2024.
This may feel hyperbolic, but Grupe has literally made history in his first two seasons. In his first year, he was the first kicker in New Orleans Saints history to make five or more field goals from at least 50 yards in a season, with six of them on nine tries. He’s done it again in Year 2, going five-for-five

The New Orleans Saints scored first in their matchup against the New York Giants in Week 14 on the back of an 8-yard touchdown rush by Kendre Miler. Miller had just returned from injured reserve for this game and made an impact right from the get-go. He put the Saints ahead near the end of the first quarter.
The rush was impressive as well, as Miller was hit two yards into the rush before pushing through the contact for four more, and then being pushed in by his offensive line for the last two right through the middle of the entire defense. This is the type of power rushing the Saints need to have an effective offense for the remainder of the season, and Miller brought some of that on this touchdown run to kickoff Week 14
The New York Giants headed into their Week 14 matchup against the visiting New Orleans Saints sporting a seven-game losing streak and an injury list that you wouldn’t wish on any team.
The Saints recently lost their most versatile player for the season last week in tight end Taysom Hill but their offensive line was intact for the first time in weeks.
Fans stayed away in droves with the Giants sitting at 2-10 and last in the NFC standings. Tickets were going for as low as $1 on secondary market platforms
Giants WR Malik Nabers, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hip flexor injury and a lingering groin issue, will try to play vs. the Saints but the team wants to see how he feels in pre-game warmups and, as one source said, it “would be more of a limited role.”
The Giants have only one interception this season, by linebacker Darius Muasau in Week 1 against the Vikings. Since then the team has gone 11 straight games without an interception, the longest drought by any team since 1933, when the league began recording statistics. The team with the next fewest interceptions this season? The Jets, who have only two.

Graham Gano's 35-yard field goal is blocked. Special teams unit: Pro tank. The #Giants will lose this game. They will fall to 2-11. With the #Raiders losing & #Jaguars winning, New York now possesses the No. 2 pick in the #NFLDraft.
Ihmir Smith-Marsette returned a punt for a touchdown. It's coming back, though. There's a flag. Holding on Stroman. Giants can't catch a break.
That was Brian Burns' seventh sack of the season. He's been impressive this year considering some of the physical ailments he's had to work through, specifically a groin. Always out there. Always giving 100 percent. #Giants
Hayball's 60-yard field goal attempt, set up by the Tyler Nubin DPI, is blocked. Halftime. Saints lead the Giants, 7-3. Only 30 minutes left.
The New Orleans Saints reported just five inactive players for this week’s road game with the New York Giants, their lowest total of the season. The team is finally getting healthy at some key positions, even if some high-profile playmakers like Taysom Hill have been sidelined by injuries of their own.
But as for the Giants? They’ve had to deactivate seven of their own players, including starting offensive linemen Chris Hubbard and Jermaine Eluemunor. But they will have star wide receiver Malik Nabers. The rookie standout has dealt with groin and hip injuries but will play against the Saints
The New York Giants (2-10) and New Orleans Saints (4-8) square off on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey in Week 14.
Both teams have officially announced their inactives for the game. Below is a full list:

The New York Giants were defeated by the New Orleans Saints, 14-11, at MetLife Stadium in Week 14 and Tre Hawkins III is our Player of the Game.
The outlook for this game was bleak coming in with the Giants struggling all season and a mountain of injuries on the defensive side of the football. However, they were able to make it a competitive game late in the fourth quarter with a Tyrone Tracy Jr. touchdown and a successful two-point conversion catch by Malik Nabers.
Unfortunately, the Giants did not have enough in the tank to complete the comeback
Bryan Bresee has surpassed his sack total from his rookie year, and he has a chance to lead all defensive tackles in sacks this season. Dexter Lawrence leads the league with 9 sacks at the position but is on injured reserve. The New Orleans Saints won’t have to face him when they play the New York Giants this week.
When the New Orleans Saints drafted Bresee in the first round, explosiveness was one of his featured traits. That quickly translated to his ability to get after the quarterback in the NFL.
What has contributed to the bump from 4.5 sacks a year ago to 6.5 sacks with five games remaining this season
