I asked Patriots safety Jaylinn Hawkins if he noticed any tendencies throughout the week when preparing for this Bears offense. "There was a couple of tendencies. They do the no-huddle. They go check with me, a couple of stuff like that. Certain players in certain positions, alert, you know. Some third downs nuggets, you know. Stuff like that. Every week you have those, some cadences and stuff like that, some tendencies, but those are some of the stuff we picked up on and we just studied."
I asked Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden what it was like preparing for the #Bears throughout the week. In his answer, he mentioned that the team "saw tendencies." I followed up by asking if it was apparent what offensive coordinator Shane Waldron was doing with his playmakers. Here is what Bolden said. "The coaches they worked their butts off by showing us the tendencies such as like ball disruption, how to carry the ball. Different where they might use, you know as well as, what's the word I'm looking for, how they line up. Stuff like that, so our coaches do a great job of like giving us information and it makes us play faster and process it."

In fact, the New England Patriots standout defender doesn’t believe there’s a single offensive guard in the NFL capable of blocking him one-on-one.
It’s hard to argue with that point after seeing him and the rest of the Patriots’ defensive front run roughshod over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. White finished the game with four tackles, one pass deflection, one sack, two tackles for a loss and two quarterback hits.

New England Patriots safety Kyle Dugger has missed the last two games with the ankle injury he suffered back in September. His absence has been notable on a defense that is missing several key players.
Some have wondered if his season could potentially be in jeopardy. That question was posed on Friday afternoon with coach Jerod Mayo updating his availability.
Here’s a breakdown of where things stand in that regard, as well as the other options the Patriots have at the safety position:
Dugger went down with an ankle injury in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers. He has missed four out of the last six games since that contest. The injury proved to be a problem again this week, as he missed the entire week of practice

Patriots veteran wide receiver K.J. Osborn is set to make his return after being deemed inactive in last week’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
There was a belief that Osborn being held out of the game could be due to him potentially being traded ahead of the trade deadline. However, no such move came to fruition, and the Patriots will once again lean on his experience in hopes of getting the offense headed in the right direction
