Game News
Broncos key free agents this offseason: RB Javonte Williams, LB Cody Barton, LB Justin Strnad, WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey, DT DJ Jones, P Riley Dixon, OT Matt Peart, FB Michael Burton, CB Tremon Smith, LB Zach Cunningham, QB Jarrett Stidham, RG Quinn Bailey, QB Zach Wilson.
Early actives/inactives: #Broncos RB Audric Estime is inactive today, as Tyler Badie takes his place. #Bills CB Brandon Codrington is also out.
Mims was teammates with Ashton Jeanty at Frisco Lone Star HS
(I won't be surprised if they're teammates again in a few months)
@Marcus_Mosher: Marvin Mims is a winning player.
Four-down player.
Watching Broncos RB pregame warmups, RB Jaleel McLaughlin got 1st reps followed by Tyler Badie then Javonte Williams.
Well Robert Saleh did once beat the Eagles without his starting corners and with Zach Wilson at quarterback…
@mattschneidman: Robert Saleh is on the Packers sideline in a button down and jeans right now. Has been consulting for the team while interviewing for other jobs.
Bills RB Ray Davis is walking off the field straight to locker room with help from trainers after taking a scary hit to the head that Broncos safety Brandon Jones was penalized for. Davis is being evaluated for a concussion.
Bills slot CB Taron Johnson -- one of their best players -- is in blue medical tent after getting hurt in head-to-head collison with Javonte Williams. Trainers surrounding him as he was down for a minute then he eventually walked to tent.
Sean Payton has let Troy Franklin hear it on the sideline a couple times today, including after that failed fourth-down conversion. Seemingly not happy with the route the rookie ran.
Zach Allen has been a freakin' stud this year.
Josh Allen to Ty Johnson on 4th down -- when there was NOTHING open. Call stands after review. UNREAL. pic.x.com/YAqAm3fJvo
Mack Hollins just leveled Marvin Mims. Absolutely leveled him. pic.x.com/MsAM3VYNry
“That's 1-7. MVP. Let's go.” 1-on-1 with #Bills RB James Cook on “physical” 200+ rushing yard day + preview of his QB Josh Allen vs. Lamar Jackson's Ravens. For @nflnetwork @NFLGameDay: pic.x.com/SBOrio5mlA

Taron Johnson has returned from the locker room and is back on the sidelines.
Prayers: #Bills RB Ray Davis is walking off the field straight to the locker room with help from trainers after taking a scary helmet-to-helmet hit. 🙏🙏🙏 pic.x.com/yAJe95I0bE
Curtis Samuel caught his second TD this overall season today. Now Jahan Dotson gets his first with Philly
@Eagles: JAHAN DOTSON'S FIRST TD AS AN EAGLE 🦅
A year ago, one former starter on D lamented the fact that the #Bills O was built for a dome. Now? This is a team that believes it can kick ass, if required. Here comes their first test. https://t.co/hqANgSkgyi TyDunne: Here's a gem from Alec Anderson on the #Bills O-Line: “We just do our fucking job and there's nothing to talk about. That's what's wrong with today's society. Everybody wants a fucking pat on the back for doing their job. It's bullshit. Man up and just do your job.” More: https://t.co/GbUVWE36T9
The Bills pacing/managing Von Miller through the year has paid off of late.
Bills LT Dion Dawkins said they saw video of Broncos faithful chanting, “we want Buffalo.” Extra motivation for them to establish their will for 200+ rushing yards. pic.x.com/0jauxxgyEL
Bills inactives vs. Broncos: QB Mike White (Emergency 3rd) WR Jalen Virgil OL Ryan Van Demark DT DeWayne Carter CB Kaiir Elam S Kareem Jackson PR/KR Brandon Codrington
Bills WR Jalen Virgil, who was elevated from the practice squad for the game, is on the field in sneakers rather than cleats. That's usually a sign of the player being inactive. As expected, very likely to be a healthy scratch. Same will probably go for S Kareem Jackson.
4. Ed Oliver has mostly been a hit despite this being one of his lower-output seasons. DaQuan Jones was great before his injury last year and upon his return. Regardless, I'd expect finding a DT -- likely a 1TDT -- an item high on their wish list this offseason.
@Jburl14: @JoeBuscaglia Why does this organization struggle so much to evaluate the DL?
A year ago, one former starter on D lamented the fact that the #Bills O was built for a dome. Now? This is a team that believes it can kick ass, if required. Here comes their first test. https://t.co/hqANgSkgyi TyDunne: Bills up to 200 rushing yards. Allen 20 of 26 for 272, two scores, no picks. Like Quintin Morris said, the OC can scroll through his menu of plays and put his finger on anything. 31-7. Next week's the big test.
1. I think the health piece plays into it slightly after he came back from IR following wrist surgery. They tried him at 1T a couple of games. Looked solid there against the Jets, less so against the Patriots. Austin Johnson (1T) had a solid game after the Wk17 healthy scratch.
@TheBillsGuys: @JoeBuscaglia How concerned about Carter's future should Bills fans feel now that it's seems the Bills feel he's the worst of a BAD group of depth DTs?
3. The logical candidate is Khalil Shakir, who did so in two games as a rookie in 2022, one game (Eagles) in 2023, is sure-handed and trusted by the coaching staff.
@murphycummins: @JoeBuscaglia Happy 1pm kickoff. Who will return punts today?
20. I'll say no and go with Keon Coleman in a go-up-and-get-it TD
@VladdyDov: @JoeBuscaglia Does Dawson Knox continue his streak of first touchdown scorer in the playoffs?
Rasul Douglas knows he had no business playing in the div round game vs KC last year. Entire D was banged up. Asked him to compare this D vs that one into same round. “We were playing with a handicapped team last year.”
RT: Injury Update: CB Cam Lewis was evaluated for a head injury and cleared to return.
16. Dorian Williams is the backup OLB, with Andreessen being the backup MLB. Spector is on IR, so he's unavailable.
@toaster32: @JoeBuscaglia What's the linebacker mix? Has there been any movement between who's behind Milano and Bernard? Seems like Spector hasn't played well at all. Any opportunity for 44?
