After a review put the Packers at first and goal, rookie Jayden Reed was able to give his team the lead by taking an end-around nine yards for a touchdown. Green Bay now leads Atlanta, 7-3, early in the second quarter.

Game News
Jordan Love and the Packers got this QB sneak totally wrong.
The challenge for Matt LaFleur’s team in getting to 2-0 on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons will likely become clear when the inactive players for the Green Bay Packers are announced 90 minutes before kickoff.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Packers are expected to be without running back Aaron Jones and receiver Christian Watson, who are both still recovering from hamstring injuries and were listed as questionable on the final injury report on Friday.
Jones was injured at the end of a receiving touchdown in the third quarter of the Packers’ Week 1 win; Watson hurt his hamstring during a practice before Week 1. Only two weeks into a long season, the Packers are likely taking the cautious route with both players and allowing another week to heal their hamstrings, a muscle that can easily suffer a setback if not allowed to properly and fully heal
The Atlanta Falcons came up with a big defensive stop on the Green Bay Packers’ opening drive. However, Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder quickly gave the ball back to the Packers when he threw his first career interception in the first quarter.
Watch as Ridder gets picked off by Rasul Douglas, as shared by the Packers Twitter account below.

The first career touchdown for Green Bay Packers rookie receiver Jayden Reed arrived Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Reed, moving from left to right pre-snap, caught a pop pass from quarterback Jordan Love and raced into the end zone behind blocks from Zach Tom, Luke Musgrave, Samori Toure and Patrick Taylor. The 9-yard touchdown gave the Packers a 7-3 lead over the Falcons in the second quarter of Week 2.
The Packers made Reed a second-round pick out of Michigan State in the 2023 draft. The 50th overall pick caught two passes for 48 yards, rushed once for -2 yards and returned three punts for 54 yards (long 35) during his NFL debut in Chicago last Sunday
The Green Bay Packers were already going to be without their top running back and wide receiver during Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, but another key player was listed on the team’s inactives list.
Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari has been ruled out for Week 2.
Actives/inactives:— #Packers LT David Bakhtiari is out.— #Chargers DE Joey Bosa is active.— #Ravens TE Mark Andrews is up.— #Texans QB CJ Stroud is up, while LT Laremy Tunsil is out.— #Bears WR Chase Claypool is active, but WRs will rotate a bit more this week
Packers left guard Elgton Jenkins left Sunday's loss to the Falcons with a knee injury and there was an update about his condition after the game.
The Green Bay Packers let a 12-point lead evaporate and lost a winnable game in Week 2, but Matt LaFleur’s team wasn’t alone in the NFC North, a division that continues to ask the question: “Are any of these teams any good?”
While the Packers gave up 13 straight points and lost 25-24 to the Atlanta Falcons, the Minnesota Vikings turned the ball over four times and fell 34-28 to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, the Chicago Bears dropped to 0-2 with a 27-17 loss on the road to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions followed up a Week 1 win in Kansas City with a 37-31 loss to the Seattle Seahawks at home
Younghoe Koo booted a 25-yard field goal with 57 seconds remaining and rookie Bijan Robinson turned in another dynamic performance Sunday, rallying the Atlanta Falcons to a 25-24 victory over Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.
Three player prop bets you should make ahead of NFL Week 2, including RB Bijan Robinson over 18.5 receiving yards.
The Atlanta Falcons managed to stay undefeated despite trailing by two touchdowns going into the fourth quarter against the Green Bay Packers.
Bijan Robinson went for a career-high 124 rushing yards, with 172 all-purpose yards in Sunday’s win. Desmond Ridder and Drake London bounced back and the defense made some huge stops down the stretch.
Here’s how Falcons fans on Twitter reacted to the team’s 25-24 victory over the Packers in Week 2
The Atlanta Falcons (1-0) have listed their inactives for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers (1-0) and it appears cornerback Jeff Okudah (ankle) will have to wait another week to make his Falcons debut.
The former No. 3 overall pick was one of seven players listed on the Week 2 inactives list. Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson is out again as well. Check out all seven inactives for today’s game below
The Falcons offense began cooking in the fourth quarter against the Packers. Quarterback Desmond Ridder found wide receiver Mack Hollins for a huge gain that set up a score that kept Atlanta in the game.

Then on fourth down in the red zone, Ridder kept the option from Robinson and vaulted into the end zone to inch the Falcons back into this contest. Green Bay currently leads 24-22 in the fourth quarter
Following the Atlanta Falcons’ Week 2 win over the Green Bay Packers, head coach Arthur Smith made a point to compliment the crowd at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before he began his press conference.
“It means a lot for us to win at home and I thought our crowd has been unbelievable the last two games,” said Smith. “It really made a difference — our guys fed off that energy. It’s a shared experience when you get into it like that and you could feel them, especially on that last drive.”
Smith went on to talk about the confidence he had in the team coming into Sunday’s game
